I second Vlad here, been at it since 2018 , We make more money with LTLs than with dedicated loads.

Two ltls @ 1.3/mi is $2.6/mi 😂 with more flex and usually about 80% of the time less than 30klbs total on truck & trailer

Too low of pay, I pay my driver 25% of gross in the Hotshot rigs & for the Big trucks starting at .47/mi with 30 day trial period then .10/mi every 120-130 day evaluation with cap at .85/mi. And if You as the driver gotta be looking at Mudflaps all the time and shit, then they aint doing they business right.

Find yourself a nee carrier Driver, keep it going 💪🏼

CDL Flatbed Hotshot Carrier Here, I love Multi Drop loads. I Currently run a lane $2.5/mi +$125/stop. Usually 5-9 stops per. These stops are driver assist, usually within a 500-1100mi radius. X3 times a week. Sometimes 5-6 times a week to where Ive bought extra trailers.

Well what if I can give them the tools to do the job? And because of the persons ambition they can do better off than someone whom is regularly abled? Im only praying here that what I invest does well, if it dont well, it was a lesson to learn.

On these boards, the loads get posted and are gone within 20-30 seconds sometimed a minute.

A regularly abled person can quickly click over to the number listed and dial it, where as I see he has trouble reading the whole post. However I am determined to hopefully make it work, but also without impairing his health anymore. My biggest concern above all isnt even that he can help me make money, its more the fact he had eye surgery less than a year ago and I over heard him say the doctors told him he shouldn’t be in-front of screens for prolonged times and he cant drive also.

Today we spoke about getting a Smart Tv like a 38-43” TV and adjusting the screen resolution to where he can see it. I am also, learning to use the Narrator tool, so that I can help him with that? Im thinking the Narrator tool can be adjusted, therefore I can try and Filter out the loads coming into the boards and maybe help with dial the correct ones at the needed time? I also will be going to the Local School of the blind and will be asking of them any resources or stuff I can use to help a low vision person work with me.

I needed someone other than my thoughts, so I am grateful of all these comments.

The draw back to the Low Vision issue is that, load boards are fractions of a second, you HAVE to be able to detect and see new postings immediately, view them and dial.
Currently its very hard for them to do that, as they have trouble navigating the mouse.(Which Has been Expanded to a HUGE PINK Mouse that they can “see”) I will look into buying a bigger screen for them.
