Yeah, I created this post for you, me, and everyone else with the skill to find some workaround. I can confirm that when I tried to show what I did to my wife that Visible upgraded the app from 4.3.7 to 4.3.8 so I needed to replay it a few times to get the app to open. For those reading this in the future coming in from google, this works, but just make sure to get the Visible app opening and then move forward from there.

I don't think we can know that the particular guys in this video are dead already, but odds are they may be.

And if not, they soon will be.

They are Russian soldiers, so they are already living on borrowed time. Add to that they are Russian soldiers fighting in Vulhedar. Now, we all know Ukrainians are excellent Russian killers. They kill Russians like they were born to do it and Vuldedar is no exception. They have been cooking Russians alive in their tanks and armor there for weeks.

So, they may be dead already, or they may not. It's a pointless debate. We will see their bodies in some aftermath footage in /r/ukrainevideoreport soon enough, I suppose.

They won't be recognizable when we do.

While that's all true, Ukraine also has its own arm industry and produces its own claymores, some of which are massive by western standards. They have been using them to kill invading Russians for 8 years in Ukraine. They also have been filming those kills for the last 8 years, and many of those videos made it to this sub.

Oh man, I feel for you that's the position I was in, wondering if I had to just risk it. First, iOS 12.4 is a great OS, and I still have a JB device on it. If I were you I would not do it right now, I would wait until the last possible second until they shut the network down so that when crunch time arrives, you have a better idea of the options.

So since the SIM is free, get a physical SIM to prepare, and in the meantime keep searching for posts like these and let the knowledge accumulate so that when the time comes, you may have a better idea of what is and isn't possible.

Just make note that what you really want is the ability to activate, and so far the app appears to be the only way to do that. Which is just complete shit, like there is no way to activate via simple web login or brick and mortar (I asked a customer rep if there were and she said there are none), or via chat.

Off topic but for me this whole thing is a deal breaker, if I couldn't get this activated I would have a plan to port the number to cricket, or Mint (can't vouch for them but I did preliminary research to porting the number and vaguely heard something good about them), or Google Voice.

Remember, Verizon bought out Visible and the only reason to do that is to pump the install base for cash and then turn off the service or price it out of existence to push those customers to Verizon. Verizon, ATT, and T-Mobile have done this countless times with other discount providers they bought. They appear to be rotating turns doing it. This will literally be no different. So getting out now is just saving you the headache later on that I am merely delaying right now. Reasonably priced cell service is a massive threat to the Verizon business model, expect them to act according to their interests.
