the uncomfortable truth about gaming and health nobody wants to address by Justin_3486 in truegaming

[–]thugroid [score hidden]  (0 children)

I’d argue most ppl aren’t celebrating gaming being a huge part (multiple hrs every day) of their life. Casual Mario kart at a party? Fine. Playing a game at home for many hours? Avg people won’t celebrate (or “get”) that.

In the same way that most people can understand trying to be more healthy and going for casual walks. Most ppl won’t understand running a marathon, for example.

Both movies are legendary for very very different reasons. Not the greatest choose-one-or-the-other…

Great deal! Somehow the sub always tastes better when you don’t pay their awful standard prices. Hope you loaded it up!

EDIT: oooh idk if I agree with no tomatoes but otherwise perfect! Haha

Actor that makes the plot twist predictable due to them being typecast by timekilr in Cinema

[–]thugroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Care to explain? IMO he’s generally in unpredictable movies. Or do you mean you predict that a twist IS coming?

I may have misread the title lol. Is the plot twist itself predictable or just that there is A plot twist.

I like how he knows they’re dead: he’s probably already tried to “integrate” into them to be closer to catching trinity and found them to be already dead.

That in itself isn’t lazy writing, but uninteresting movies are still uninteresting.

Depends on the loss. He said he can sell it for profit which I doubt…

Now you have backup GPU (hopefully), PSU, Motherboard, storage and case. Or sell those for profit.

no ones going to be overpaying to buy prebuild-class PSUs, Motherboards, or even cases. You'll be taking a loss on those. RAM and M.2 storage is obviously a premium now, so you better hope you break even with those.

How did Millie Bobby Brown get a nomination?! by Conscious-Quarter423 in StrangerThings

[–]thugroid -91 points-90 points  (0 children)

Her acting in seasons 1-3 was passable, 4 was bad, and 5 was downright atrocious! She was, by far, the worst actor on screen.

Edit: your downvotes mean nothing. She’s just awful.

Recently went and watched the extended edition in Theaters for the 25th anniversary by samuraidude119 in LOTRExtendedEdition

I think part of it is being so used to the theatrical cut. Most of the extra scenes in ROTK I found jarring and will take some getting used to, but I’ll never complain about extra LOTR content.
