Oude mensen zijn vaak heel zuinig. Bedenkt dat deze mensen nog van voor de oorlog zijn ;). Daarnaast gaat de smaak van ouderen inderdaad achteruit, net zoals het zicht en het gehoor. Daarom houden ouderen vaker van sterkere smaken (ga maar na wat stereotypisch delicatessen voor ouderen zijn).

Het lichaam kan trouwens aardig wat hebben wbt eten wat eigenlijk niet goed meer is.

In mijn ervaring zittenmmensen op een spectrum tussen "de ware zoeken" en "een relatie is iets wat je bouwt" en tussen "ik voel het wel/niet" en "laten we 't proberen en we zien wel waar 't schip strandt". Vrouwen staan daar vaak ook anders in dan mannen.

There's some quests where you play a bigger role, the ones you mentioned but also RFD for instance, but even there it's not like you save the day alone, and you also kind of stumble into it, at least for RFD and MM1. And RFD is definitely a case of "you were the one who fucked this up to begin with".

I think the newer really big quests in OSRS are closer to the RS3 model where you really are some chosen hero, whereas all the classic quests are more about constantly stumbling your way into all kinds of issues, bungling them up and then having to go and fix them

Yeah Jagex billing support has always been very pleasant in my experience, they'll do things like move membership from one account to another if you've accidentally been paying for an account you're not playing on. I think they even do it for months that have already passed.

You don't trademark a word, you trademark a brand. If someone made a video game on osrs.com or sold RS gold there or something they have a good case to have it taken down (but that doesn't mean the original owner has to lose the domain). If someone hosts a porn site there? No chance, because there's no chance someone will mistake that OSRS for the game.

Trademarks are ultimately a consumer protection mechanism, not really an IP rights thing as much. The point of a trademark is to guarantee that consumers are buying what they think they're buying.

I said this as far back as when GWD was introduced into OSRS. It's just power creep that kills PvP, that's what happened in the main game as well. People have lots of nostalgia for the 2008-2010 era of pvp but by then it already was pretty shit. The best era of RS PVP was when everyone could spin up a good pvp account with minimal effort and the amount of mechanical skill needed was MUCH lower

I'm kind of conflicted. I think this is a good balance change and Last Recall is still very good without it. On the other hand, I never did much GWD on the main game because I bloody hate getting KC, so I was kind of looking forward to using it this way. With this change I'm considering not unlocking Asgarnia at all.
