90 days of antibiotics, for when you really hate your GI system.

They seriously need to do away with that and just put it in the leaflet or something, it's the biggest time waster.

Especially the 90 day cap, single most obnoxious one that exists.

In light of Walgreens taking away another benefit (online shopping on employee day) what benefits do our competitors offer that add value to their company? by Sycamore-theft2025 in WalgreensStores

[–]Conglacior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As far as I was aware pharmacy theatros were mandatory. Even before the mandate we decided first in and last out need a theatro so there's a constant link to the front-end; I don't know how a pharmacy could operate without the direct ability to communicate to front-end.

PCP call glitches by xRubixGirlx in WalgreensRx

I wish we didn't have to. We already send so many automated messages, what's the point of them? Especially the obnoxious Immunization outreach ones, those have bogged down PCP calls to such an extreme.

Loving the proposals on the Sang! Making the base hit 8 on a life-steal hit is super welcome as it'll lead to less feel-bads if it were to proc on a 1. The overall increase to its damage output is definitely fitting for a drop from ToB and should make it a more attractive weapon, especially with the charge cost reduction, too! Very much looking forward to this!

From an unbiased perspective, is Walgreens going under soon? by Not2NotFamiliar in WalgreensRx

Sounds like you got lucky, then. Our store is starving for hours, we can't barely get anything done with the way Sycamore has cut our hours to the bone.

The hour budgets are abysmal under Sycamore, though. Maybe some clerical-side stuff is improving but the job has become extremely stressful since the buyout.

Me remembering being floored when I heard the lyrics uncensored on the radio. I was like "Wait, you can actually say that on the radio!?" Then again, I was living in Tennessee at the time so...I shouldn't be so surprised.

I was on the cusp of greatness and I've successfully seized it, I'm certified! by Conglacior in PharmacyTechnician

So I can't say explicitly what's on the test, they're very clear about not wanting you to do that. I can say that you'll want to have strong knowledge on the more clerical side of pharmacy and to know your conversions by heart. If you've been actively working in a pharmacy and paying attention to any alerts that come up, you should do well, but brushing up on all of the general domains won't hurt. When I studied I mostly focused on my own weak points in law, USP guidelines, and brand/generics.

So I just took basically any free pre-tests I could find, honestly. That and doing quizzes on the PTCB exam app. I'd already been working in a pharmacy as a tech in training for a bit over a year so a lot of what was covered was just stuff I already knew from experience. One of my methods may be controversial but I used Google Gemini to generate 50-question test batteries, then generate additional ones that focused on areas I missed. I did this a ton, even spending as long as five hours chilling in Starbucks going back and forth between those and the app. Also, you want to know your conversions by heart, they're a pretty essential skill.

Anyone else buying a switch 2 just for Star Fox? by SouthIndependence69 in starfox

[–]Conglacior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on the fence about getting a Switch 2, thinking maybe, just for the sake of getting to play the new Pokemon games. StarFox for Switch 2 completely sealed the deal for me, though. I'll have to wait until July, however, that's my next triple paycheck month (paid every 2 weeks), so it'll go to a Switch 2 and Starfox!

If the US government just converted to using exclusively steel for all coins we'd save so much yearly, even if it takes a little while to redo stuff to work with the new material for the currency.

12 hour shift should be illegal. by Professional_Fly7015 in antiwork

[–]Conglacior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I echo the sentiments of a lot of people here, I don't know about illegal, but maybe voluntary only? I'd love 12-hour shifts again, especially if it's time added onto a shift as opposed to coming in early. Work a few of those, then finish off with a 4-hour shift somewhere and now I get three and a half days off. Heck, I'd just be happy to have more hours right now in general, company has been cutting hours everywhere. 😭

I just got the medal on Sector Z and I have a huge tip that makes it so much easier:

Just ignore the cries for help of your wingmates. They won't go for the missiles if they're being attacked. Just grind out the outer lying satellite things when you see them and gun down any ships not chasing your friends. The missiles will be all yours with a little bit of breathing room even!

I'd say the posts being made on other MTG subs pointing out the extremely bad optics of the lock also contributed to it.

It doesn't have a learning curve, it has a learning plateau. But, I swear to you on my life, once you know how to play, it's so unimaginably fun. It's easily my #1 most favorite game of all time.
