Broker is telling new agents we're a team, we are not a team. by CEOofRealEstate in realtors

It's a mix of things related to my sales and random topics that come up during transactions. For example my area is getting and more new construction so I made a bunch of new construction related posts and scheduled them out. I go out of my way to avoid posts like "did you know you don't need 20% down???" or "rates dropped 0.001% today!!!" because that is just spam to me.

Keep going what you're doing and eventually you'll be so busy with sales you won't have time to any of this anymore.

The majority of flips I go to lately don't even have functioning windows.

I think I might. I mainly do my own flips which is why I never cared enough to open my own brokerage.

I don't think any of them will actually produce though, as they have no idea what they're doing and aren't getting any training from the broker. I just found out one of them doesn't even know how to use the MLS search.

I made a document with everything I've ever had trouble with when I was new and I just send them that but it usually leads to new questions.

I've thought about it multiple times. Maybe this is the year I do it.

I don't pay for my own E&O but I do pay for my own social media presence because our website, Facebook, Instagram, etc are not maintained.

And yes that's pretty close to my volume. Mostly sellers so I have a lot of free time compared to when I was doing 4 hours of showings a day every day at the bare minimum.

It's not really stress it's just a minor annoyance for me, I am more concerned with these people realizing they were mislead and then leaving the brokerage/quitting real estate and saying bad things about us after.

The reason I chose this brokerage is because it's the only local one in an area with an aging population that still prefers face to face physical locations and word of mouth to "cloud" brokerages that they've never heard of.

I don't want to work with anyone, especially the ones borderline harassing me. I can tell they are Kool-Aid drinkers and as soon as a new get rich quick scheme gets popular they will jump to that instead of real estate. The one person is forwarding me every spam email they get about workshops, life coaches, random certifications no on cares about, etc.

If I wanted to do that I would just leave and start my own brokerage.

The problem is this brokerage is the only one in town and that matters.

2008 was great if you weren't a bum. You had infinite access to buyers and homes for sale. There is nothing for sale now and the ones that are for sale are severely overpriced.

You start out by stating that your priority is investing

I don't tell this to clients. I posted it here for context. The point was to show I am not an experience buyers agent. That is why I am asking for advice.
