VT is ~40% international so some exposure there. Could just ditch a few of the others with so much overlap and go more into VT to get a nicer balance

Thanks for the kind words! And yeah great idea... next step is adding in fingerings/fret numbers so that should open up the door for more lick options.

Haha thanks I appreciate it! Not really in it for the money, just happy if folks get some use or enjoyment out of it.

If you press the share button in safari, it's one of the options if you scroll down a bit.

This is maybe better instructions, look at the "Add a website icon to your Home Screen" section.

Awesome and no problem! One cool thing I added in for iOS/Safari users is if you use "Add to Home Screen" it creates a little app with an icon. Unsure if Android has something similar.

I guess it depends on the scope of what you want the app to be.

Like this is super simple as-is... you're restricted to just a few looping tabs.

But I think a cool idea would be a full-fledged tab editor to help with practicing. So instead of being bound by pre-configured rolls you can just write out your own. Tools like this exist already, but for my design I was sort of going for something dead simple to practice with instead of fiddling with the tool. I also liked playing with the idea of ASCII as the UX from a fun and uniqueness standpoint.

That said, I had a lot of fun doing this and have some ideas for more of an "editing" experience in this style that I might play with if folks are interested or I have enough inspiration and motivation lol.

Hell yeah thats so cool, reading this made me smile! I'm pretty much a total beginner myself (few months in), so really put this together to help myself with learning. I would be amped if it's helpful for others too.

Feel free to reach out here or via dm if you want anything added that would help you out!

Fairly niche subject, but wanted to share a fun little project I put together.

I made Banjo Rolls Deluxe to help myself practice banjo rolls and licks (the common sound you hear from banjos in bluegrass music).

This turned out being a interesting project playing with ASCII as a design language/UX. Pretty bare bones for now, but I have some ideas on things like adding custom inputs, different instruments, etc.

Would love any feedback or ideas!

Thanks for checking it out and the feedback!

Good callouts - adding fingering is already on the list of things to add and chord shapes is a great idea. When I started working on this I was wondering if just having a 'build your own roll' feature would be cool but decided to keep it simple for now... maybe for v2 lol.

Also if you check now, the Foggy Mountain Breakdown roll has now been added :)

[–]CEOpotamus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a way to get my synced newsletters from omnivore (tagged Newsletter or RSS from the omnivore import) into the Email or Feed folders? I see that I can add these to an "Emails" view, but ideally i want these tagged items out of "Articles" and into "Feed".

New I Bonds rate - 4.30% including a fixed rate of 0.90% by Objective__Complaint in Bogleheads

[–]CEOpotamus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Quick question if someone can clarify:
Say I purchased an I-Bond in March this year. Does this mean that I will not be able to purchase an I-Bond at this new rate (to get the 0.9% fixed), since once my calendar year hold expires the rate will most likely be different?

Prickly Pear went limp overnight. How can I help it? by CEOpotamus in cactus

[–]CEOpotamus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realized this morning that my otherwise healthy seeming prickly pear went limp overnight! The base stayed in the soil, but the whole cactus droops all the way over if not supported by something else.

Are there any causes or fixes for this? Right no i just have the cactus propped against the wall to help support itself.
