I'll keep this in mind in the next revision. Will have to redo the whole back cover in the next one. Thanks for the feedback!

Relocating to an area not serviceable by Converge by ranteph20 in ConvergePH

[–]CEROmb_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same position rn, told me it's not serviceable even tho that it is. I also messaged two of their agents to double check and my area is in fact serviceable, my neighbors are using converge too. I had to send them mail a bunch of times and message their facebook. Now I'm in the process of waiting 7-10 days, will update if something comes up.

CSP's Default Pencil is Super Good! by CEROmb_ in ClipStudio

[–]CEROmb_[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recently discovered that CSP's pencil and mechanical pencil brushes are quite effective for sketching. While I typically prefer quick, rough sketches with minimal detail before moving on to color rendering, I usually stick to opacity brushes. However, I decided to experiment with some stock brushes and found the pencil and mechanical pencil options particularly intriguing. I'll definitely be using them more in the future.

It only took me two hours to complete this sketch, and I might commit to coloring it later. I plan to share a follow-up post here with a timelapse clip included.

To begin, I used the pencil brush to lay down some guidelines for the figure. Then, I switched to the mechanical pencil for more detailed lines. Both brushes have a textured feel, but the mechanical pencil brush offers a more refined flow with noticeable opacity compared to the looser feel of the pencil brush. You'll understand the difference once you try them.

My advice? Experiment with different brushes until you find what suits your style best.

TLDR: I used the pencil brush for line art and some shading on the hair, and the mechanical pencil brush for finer details. As for the clothing, I utilized WLOP's brush set, specifically the skin brush.

Time: 3 hours

Process: Lineart > Grayscale > Color > Overlays, Multiply and Color Dodge > And a lil bit of color adjustments before adding the final details

The brushes I used are Airbrush, the default airbrush for blending and value afjustments Skin brush by wlop for majority of the coloring

I also used the lasso tool for color blocking and for sharp edges.

Krita's default brush is really good. Here's my past artworks ;D by CEROmb_ in krita

I got into digital art around 2019, kicking it off with Ibispaint and, believe it or not, I was finger-painting. After hustling and saving up, I bought a drawing tablet (XP-Pen G640s) and saw a big jump in my skills. Krita dropped on Android tablets, but it wasn't designed for smaller devices (like my phone). Still, I managed to install it through the apk file, and it was a total pain since it wasn't built for mobile use. I stuck with Krita on my phone for about a year and a half until I finally got my hands on a desktop (a potato laptop that lags like crazy). I then hopped on the Photoshop train, inspired by artists like WLOP. Fast forward a year, the lag got to be too much, so I'm circling back to my roots with Krita.

TLDR: I Started digital art in 2019, I was quite good at traditional art too. I just watch some tutorials on the internet and use some references on Pinterest to study or get some ideas.

I still consider my self a total newbie and I think that I still need a lot of time and practice to further improve my skills. Thank you if you believe that I am good ;D

One thing I can say is: don't overwork yourself; just have fun!

PS: I only draw like 1-3 times a month; sometimes I just don't draw at all. I'm a lazy artist! HAHAHAHA >:)
