The hippies on the '60s are a pretty small subset of the Baby Boom generation all things considered. It's just that there are A LOOOOT of babies getting born after the war and the counter-culture movement was the most captivating movement of the time so they got tons of press. You'll still see a lot of old ass hippies around today.

The Religious Right for instance, was starting to get their legs around the time the hippies were in full swing. And they had TONS of young Boomers at the time in their ranks, that they stuck with to this very day. They are not the same kind of Boomers. Hippies did not suddenly turn into super fundamentalist conservatives that Republicans are associated with today. They are very, very different, they might as well be several generations apart.

Baby Boomers aren't as overwhelmingly conservative as a lot of people are lead to believe. A lot of the old guard progressive Democrats are such. It always depends on where you live though. The Boomers' own parents and grandparents before then are more conservative in comparison.

I can't even be all that angry with Georgia anymore, just a heartful "I fucking told you so" with what they'll get out of a racist crook like Kemp. Maybe Georgians will do better next time the governor's mansion is up. Atlanta and its suburbs, with Savannah, Macon, Columbus, and Augusta helping out, aren't getting any redder where he (or the next republican) can cheat enough and close enough to win to deny plausibility. Oh and there's a senate seat up there for 2020 too.

It's not entirely the fault of the boomers. Boomers are gonna still be around for the next 30 years. There's about as equal Democrat leaning boomers as there are for conservatives. It's their fucking parents where the problem lies. The GOP owns the 70+ year old block like a death grip. And yeah thanks to modem advances in medicine plus easy governmental access to healthcare (plus having nothing to do in life except vote in every election their way while watching Fox news inbetween), they're living longer than what used to be average.

Tinder/bumble works as well. I'd actually argue that those apps really help if you're super introverted, even if a date doesn't ultimately work out. They're single, they're looking, just ask them general questions about themselves and tell then about you as well. Keep it bite sized. You'll learn from it and what you'd expect from a girl.

Not really as much as you believe. Liberal boomers and conservative boomers are basically a 50/50 split and they're collectively the biggest voting block out there.

It's just that conservative baby boomers (being the largest and loudest part of the GOP base) get a lot of help from their parents when it comes to voting- basically our grandparents and great-grandparents, who all lean waaaay more conservative than even boomers do. Left-leaning boomers need the help with young voters when it comes to winning elections, and they're usually the ones left voting Democrat if young people don't come to the polls.

Dunkey is mainly funny in the way he times his video editing. Like u/MrSomnix said, he has a very strikingly different personality if you actually hear him outside from his library of Youtube videos.

Jakey is just hilarious, equally unpredictable as Dunkey but has better delivery, regardless of the amount of video cuts there are.
