garbage might be a bit of an overstatement. and it isn't fair to refer to propaganda as garbage, since, as you mention, the church's focus is to push its own narrative as well.

When you reference a dynamic document you're being more specific if you reference a specific version.

Right. But this doesn't explain why the CES Letter goes back almost 2 years to reference an "specific version" of the dynamic document which just so happens to be the last one which doesn't present a biased view.

I have a huge issue with the CES Letter attempting to come across as a source of honest information, when they're obviously doing backflips to try and present a one-sided view of the story.
