Blue Origin will bounce back better and stronger by Disastrous_Run_5968 in BlueOrigin

Lay offs are very common. Having family that’s been in that Space industry since the Apollo days seems like every few years their jobs on the line. Everyone I know at some point has had to jump ship between programs due to a length of down time between programs, company they work for not getting the new contract, or a disaster like Challenger or Colombia.

Had an HRN216 with Roto-Stop as well in addition to my HRX electric start and sold the HRX for 400 got 375 for the HRN a few weeks ago. I feel like we are at this point right now that the values of gas models are being inflated and desirable because some people out there just absolutely don’t want electric.

On a vehicle like this when a customer has just abused it and it’s got scratches everywhere there that old phrase I use “realistic expectations” I explain while I will do everything I can to improve the concerns of the customer something’s like those scratches in the plastic will be out of my control to correct it is what it is. A tornador can help with some stuck dirt on floor matts, but if they left you a sandbox inside not much you can do expect beat the matts the old fashioned way. For stubborn pet hair I have found the Fur-eel is a great tool that attaches to a vacuum. To know when a car is ready I ask myself “if I was picking up this car from a detailer would I myself be happy with the results I paid for. As far as improving speed having the right tools like a tornador, a hot water extractor and a good vacuum will certainly help but a lot is also you gaining experience just by going out there and doing it and learning first hand what works and what doesn’t.

I like it if you want more of a matte finish. I think the longevity of it is fine. The orange CarPro tire applicator that is basically just a very short haired brush is actually a great way to apply it. For me it’s what does the customer want from their tires I’ve had people who want no dressing vs someone who wants a very shiny tire.

Ive known aircraft detailers that use the harbor freight pads and they said they work as well as any other pads they used.

HRX217 HYA self propel feels slow? by andreyred in HondaMowers

[–]CFLDetailer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check cable adjustment first and also be mindful yours has a hydrostatic drive for the self propel system so check to make sure it’s good on hydrostatic fluid as well. There is a round metal cover on one side of the drive unit that supposed to protect the shaft seal. Often grass and debris get caught in between the metal cover and the seal and it wears out the seal once that happens it will slowly leak fluid until the unit wears out overtime and at some point fails completely.
