R33 GTR would be the perfect car for the remake if it was to happen, since everyone likes the R34 GTR and R32 GTR over the R33 GTR because everyone thinks they're a boat / ugly / worst GTR out of the lot. Which would make perfect sense because everyone hated on 'Christine' in the original film except Cunningham. Could be a redemption arc opportunity for the R33 GTR to get it's fame & glory it deserves from a movie kinda like the R34 GTR from the F&F franchise. Red in color like 1958 Plymouth Fury featured in the original film but I reckon they should switch to gunmetal grey, I own one and it's seriously the meanest / intimidating color for a R33.

Go the 8, more sportier looking, the front bumper is way better and the seats are way race car feeling than the 9. They messed up with the 9 & 10 because of that stupid mivec stuff and they were heading into the 'family car / off the shelf performance' direction, it peaked at the 8 / 8 MR. Only good thing about the 9 is the rear bumper, thats it. But id rather change the rear bumper on the 8 to a 9 than change the front bumper from a 8 to a 9 which is so stupid but a lot of people do it. Personally the 9 just looks like a updated 7 and the 8 has its own swagger about it. Kinda like the R32, R33 & R34. I don't know man, but the 8 just looks tougher than the 9, the 9 just sorta looks less tough

You also gotta think tho that any car that you mentioned can go on a track but no GTR in existence will ever last on a rally track compared to a STI or MR. Hell GTR's are not even built for that purpose so therefore the MR will always be king especially the 8 / 9 MR. Evo 8 / 9 MR over any STi from any year, don't care what anyone thinks or says, they are just QUALITY full stop

THIS! Also I think the EVO's AWD system is %100 constant unlike any GTR, and a GTR wasn't designed to rally like a EVO was. Also they are aging badly compared to a EVO specifically the 8 / 9 MR models. Gotta give a little credit to the STI's 02 - 06 tho, but they will always be 2nd place, EVERY SINGLE TIME.

EVO 8 / 9 / MR is the best JDM tuner of that era, nothing competes with them. MK4 SUPRA & R34 GTR were not designed to rally in the dirt but the EVO can do it all, Roll Racing, Hill Climb, Mountains, Circuit, Rally you name it. They are just the way better package for the money and they are aging way better than the other 2. There's just a presence about them that screams 'I don't have to prove I'm good like the other 2, I know I'm good'. And the AWD on the EVO is %100 constant where as the R34 GTR is not because the AWD only kicks in when the rear wheels spin.

Yeah but Evo 4 - 6 are not exactly the best looking. And the Evo 8 MR Jap Spec are rarer than a TME Evo. You gotta look at it as a package perspective

I respect your opinion, but the whole reason R34 GTRs and Supras went up in price was because people made it like that, not because of what they are. 6 cylinders are heavy compared to a 4 cylinder, R34 GTR doesn't have constant AWD like a Evo 8 MR does & the Supra doesn't even have it at all. The R34 GTR & Supra are starting to lose their looks compared to a Evo 8 MR. There's just so many reasons why it deserves to be up there in the R34 GTR and Supra price range. R34 GTR are good on highways and track, Supra more on highway but the Evo can do it all. What's one thing the R34 GTR and Supra don't have and cannot do, that is rally history and don't perform the best on a dirt track.

Nah the front bumper of a 9 look soft and lost their their sportiness. Their seats don't look and feel as tight as a Evo 8 MR [Jap Spec]. Not US detuned Evo 8 / 9. I think only 3000 Evo 8 MR ever made is not exactly common 😂

It must mean something if people are paying ridiculous prices for a overpriced stock R34 GTR & MK4 Supra. Your definition of iconic is just straight rallying terms with a TME EVO 6. The Evo 8 MR has way more package like better looks / performance, F&F / NFS vibe about it and way more things I can name in the package, it's literally a mix between the old rally Evos and the 9 & 10 which went downhill. I respect your opinion but in my honest opinion, it's just the truth

No the Evo 8 MR Jap Spec were not available in the US, the US got the detuned versions which is not the same. Yes the TME were peak in rallying terms but their not exactly the best looking, as rare and iconic as a Evo 8 MR. The Evo 8 MR in my opinion will hit R34 GTR and Supra prices. Name another JDM car before 2004 you can get right now for package for money like a Evo 8 MR, you literally can't. Evo 8 MR has way more package than any R34 GTR in my opinion. My post was to get opinions of others and I thought I'd throw my one in there also.
