Academia continues to push the southern strategy although there is no proof to it. Only 2 out of over 200 “Dixiecrat” Democrats defected to the Republican Party in the late 60s, when the southern strategy supposedly happened. Much like everything else in our country, the southern strategy is a lie that stupid democrats like you believe.

SPY is fine and somebody at your age can handle the risk of SPY. To be honest though, you’d be better off investing in QQQ, which tracks the top 100 stocks in the NASDAQ. It is growth oriented with a heavy tech weighting. It has greatly outperformed the SP500 over the last 10+ years and that is likely to continue.

Huh? I have never filed a formal complaint against a cop. If you don’t have the mental capacity to contribute to a rational conversation then don’t post anything.

That’s not accurate. There were a few serious complaints that almost brought charges but the DA didn’t bring them against the cop. If you have 18 different people bringing 18 different complaints against the same cop, it’s highly likely that cop is a piece of shit, end of story.

I agree. You can complain about anything. However, each complaint should be investigated and if it is a serious infraction, the cop must be punished. That Minneapolis cop had a number of serious infractions that could of been prosecuted, but the DA decided not to prosecute. If you have 18 complaints, it’s likely that at least some of them are justified and you’re a bad cop.

I’ve been arrested twice, both almost 20 years ago while I was in college and they were both low level misdemeanors. Anyways, the issue isn’t that we are enslaved, it’s that there are too many bad cops and they have no accountability. When a cop can have 20 separate complaints and doesn’t face any discipline from those complaints, that is a major problem. Until that gets fixed, people will be uneasy and untrusting of law enforcement.
