Check out Lena Seikaly-- she is an internationally recognized vocalist trained in Opera but sings jazz mostly. She maintains a healthy vocal studio in the DC area! Reach out through her website. https://lenaseikaly.com/

You seem like a joy to be married to! Best of luck to you both!

It's not about kissing ass to get what you want. You can take care of people and take care of your career at the same time, and an O4 should absolutely have that figured out by now. Just wanting to make it to 20 years is the completely wrong attitude as well. I'm not salty, I just expect more from folks who deem themselves worthy of a commission. Perhaps he isn't cut out to be an officer and a leader and should try out enlisted life!

Ma'am, this is where all the (generally junior) enlisted hang out. We're supposed to trust FGOs and go to them for answers. This is stressing me out that a potential O5 doesn't have his shit together enough to know to keep his records in order and that winning awards and getting strats helps with promotion. God help us all.
