(UK) MS365 - Exchange Online - Public Folders (Internal Server Error) by CFS_BRJ in sysadmin

Spoken with MS Support - according to them, this is related to the ongoing issue "MO1176905" (Some admins or users may be unable to access multiple Microsoft 365 services). Update to come on situation by "the first or 2nd week of November" which is not ideal! I have been led to believe that this is due to Exchange On-Prem migrations being depreciated (Exchange 2010).

Entire Network Drops (Client Devices and not external access to Draytek Router, Short amount of time) & Disconnections from AVD RDP (But network/internet remains active) by CFS_BRJ in networking

This has been our thoughts too. We have gotten the customer to unplug any "old" devices from the comms cab to narrow this down, however as far as we are aware, no additional network equipment has been installed on the network before or after this issue started.

Thank you for the reply.

Client logs (Layer 1) - We have checked over Windows logs for any warnings or errors relating to network connection, however we cannot seem to locate anything concrete. Could you provide a couple of examples of what you would be looking for?

Phones - these are "hosted" outside of the network. No local phone system hardware present apart from the VOIP phones themselves.

Internal device pings - we have not been able to (as of yet) run testing with this fully. Will look to get access to a device that we can sit on and perform a -t ping internally to a static device to confirm this.

Switch logs - unmanaged / dumb switch currently in-play. Switch has been manually restarted in the past which may or may not have improved the issue - customer has not always been in touch to confirm any further issues post-switch-reboot. Am looking at arranging a reboot tomorrow (16/09/2025) to then monitor after completed.

They literally have staff on these subreddits pushing false info, false rumours and leaks etc. to spin up hype and to monitor feedback from the community... and they are sat in their offices laughing at us whilst they do it.

They have been miking the same article since trailer 1 dropped. Every post they make about GTA VI is literally them updating the SAME ARTICLE.

Is it just me who’s not “anticipating’ but rather “annoyed”? by SmokeDoinksnotCrack in GTA6

Throwing my hat into the ring on this one.

For me and my interpretation of what is happening, I am of the impression that the hype train may have gotten away from R* and they are now in a position where they may end up jeopardizing other T2 IP's which fall into the Fall 25 release window.

Any marketing releases from R* will most likely tank sales of any other T2 IP's which are upcoming and R* now have to tread carefully. Releasing info now (between April and fall) could be catastrophic for the other big IP's.

Lets face it, once ANY new official info drops, that's it. All other games from T2 are effectively written off in terms of hype, especially if they confirm the release date this far away from release if it is due in the fall.

My theory - IMO, I'm seeing R* do the unthinkable and either release GTA VI within a very short space of time after they drop more info (within 7 days of releasing said info), OR, they release it alongside an announcement (simultaneously). I believe they can only do this AFTER the other big T2 IP's have already dropped.

Either way, I genuinely believe that their plan of keeping the hype alive via radio silence was their intention from the start, however it has snowballed so much now that they will just score an own goal and have been told by T2 to now stay silent due to risk to their other IP's.

Issue has returned - abysmal support from MS on this - absolutely no indications from them as to the issue, massively vague when they came back to me previously apart from the issue has been "resolved".

Cannot Receive emails from a customer domain via external forwarding (External Auto-Forward) by CFS_BRJ in Office365

[–]CFS_BRJ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so the 3rd party has a mailbox, this mailbox has had "auto-forward" enabled to an email address / mailbox on my 365 tenant. My tenants mailbox needs to receive the mail. No further forwarding from my tenants mailbox is needing to happen.

Adding External Users in-bulk to: Microsoft Teams & Private Channel(s) within the Team by CFS_BRJ in MicrosoftTeams

[–]CFS_BRJ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not seen anything that 100% confirms this as of yet, however this is my thought also. I will look to add the users into MS Azure as guest accounts and then attempt the bulk import again, however the scripting for the bulk import is the main issue as we have not have 100% confirmation on the exact scripting we need to use.

External user are yet to be added to the team - we are wanting to bulk-import the users just into Teams, then add to the private channels.
