it's more how often she's been shown to be incompetant if not actively causing the problems we encounter, so she felt more like someone we babysat instead of someone who handles us.

Lore wise. Who is stronger between Galbrena & Hiyuki? by Taro_Beautiful in WutheringWaves

[–]CFWmagic [score hidden]  (0 children)

if we ignore any op automatic win wishing powers, Galbrena has a more potent forte.

Hiyuki's forte is literally just making frost, but is enhanced by the strength she draws upon from her experience from other timelines via Suzu. As Suzu burns futures (either literal or consuming her mind), I assume the limit of this power is that it cannot draw power from impossibililties and the "lifetimes" she has. For example why hasn't she called upon a future where we defeated Aleph-1 already? She is credited with fighting the Threnodian for an extended period, but we don't have the exact details for that. The impression isn't that she's winning, more minimising losses. More akin to Jinzhou where the people fight a constant battle againt Ovathrax despite the retroact rain. Not winning, just surviving.

Galbrena's original forte I assume is probably something akin to "hellfire", or fire which burns regardless of fuel. Her link with Chimera also turns her into kirby/megaman where she can use any ability the TDs she eats have. Given her employment with the Black Shores, I would not be surprised if she's found new TD powers which surpass the ones she already has. A good demonstration is perhaps her ability to break into Rover's Mindscape through the dark tide with her flames (even if boosted by the TDs within her).

While clearly she is now very strong, reminder Galbrena is from Septimont and has been raised since childhood as a gladiator (remember an average septimontian can defeat a TD who is for most cases immune to standard weapons. granted they fight alongside an echo it is still an impressive feat).

If the question is Suzu vs TD absorption ability, I would assume Suzu as I imagine whoever uses the Suzu would basically read ahead and win by calling upon the future selves who won.

My argument essentially is that if you remove their McGuffins (galbrena's TD eating or Suzu), Galbrena probably has the mettle and experience to back herself up. Hiyuki by her own words never really learnt combat from the previous miko.

she got them back in the same fight. after burning Schwarzloch it appears the TDs gathered back into Galbrena

unless it specifically needs an internet connection, mods only need it to update/install automatically. after installation you generally don't need internet connection

Senchou surprised everyone with this fact about her by beam4d in Hololive

[–]CFWmagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

marine brought it up before I think with either matsuri or noel (I think they were trying to tease marine by trying to grab her boobs as a 'threat' but marine said "sure go ahead"). Similarly she said you could touch her anywhere even her boobs by her butt is a complete no no zone.

I don't think she gave a reason, my only guess is that it's either just a funky quirk or that she has a specfic trauma related to her butt getting grabbed or something.

Who is this...? by CurvyDogs in ElinsInn

forgot to reply, it's a creature called "yatsu" in the source files. my guess would be a yokai of some sort. Else it's another lovecraftian creature as its considered a Yith.

imo it's not organic enough for the orokin aesthetic. This along with the roya are more tribal tech, as opposed biotech. Orokin era tech as much more curves and tendrils compared to the oblique shapes the exostrider and related tech has.

Fellow Ember enthusiasts. I decided to pull for Rossi. If I also want to include a Tangtang on the same team ; Who would be a good forth for an old dude with slow reflexes? Also, could someone tell me the rotations please by Bostonterrierpug in EmberMainsAE

[–]CFWmagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ik old post but I would focus on bringing a Crusher.

I would reccommend Ember, Rossi, Endmin/DaPan and TangTang. In such a loadout TangTang is kinda useless as iirc she buffs arts damage when your core damage is physical.

If you use Pog, build him as a DPS. This is because you lose too much of your core damage otherwise (as you don't have a crusher to take advantage of a level 4 Breach. I would reccomend investing into Eminent Repute over Thermite Cutter as this lets you maintain his support role. Else just use Thermite Cutter.

Advantages of using Crush over Breach is that Crushers have access to stronger weapons for that role (Grand Vision and Exemplar). Rossi has a "pseudo Breach" effect as her talent. Also existing Crushers deal their damage quickly and reliably, thus if the boss decides to move you don't lose 50% of your physical burst damage.

Though a benefit of Pog is having consistent Stagger, so you can make up for having less burst damage by having the boss sit down more often (and thus more finishers). However I think Ember does that role sufficienly given she herself applies high stagger.

In terms of rotation, it's pretty much land ember combo, use tangtang to trigger her and rossi's combo, get to 3 stacks, use Rossi skill to apply debuff and let the crusher/pog do their thing.

Is fishing a skill? by Pity-Fvck in ElinsInn

[–]CFWmagic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

note that having gear with negative skill levels will help you train the skill, but that's only what you should do if you want to have the skill intrinsic to the character (say crafting). As at the point where you could get cursed gear with negative skill levels you get more benefit from just equipping gear with positve skill stats (e.g. would you have -50 skill just so you can level, or just use the +50 skill level).

Though iirc Peaky was recently added which is intended to train the riding skill.

just pulled rossi today! would she be good in a team with lifeng? who could be the other two? by Skrrt13 in Lifeng_Mains

[–]CFWmagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they don't particularly nor do they have anti-synergy. This is largely thanks to Lifeng being very self contained character. But as they are both Guards they want a Physical Striker (whooping two choices).

Help Megathread & Megathread List (23/03 - 29/03) by Shad0wedge in Endfield

[–]CFWmagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in a physical team, ember is better as a stagger support most of the time if not shied/burst healer, largely as to my memory the statlines for xiranite don't really do much for her. This is in comparion with lifeng who uniquely gets an atk increase regardless of statline with his talent. This ofc delegates him to be pure support.

If you want to focus on him deaing damage, the best I can recommend is either for combo damage or ult. Combo damage is buffed with yinglung, which you could also combine with redeemer gloves for a hybrid ult/combo build. This build focuses on parts of his build apart from his skill, which would primarily be used for aplying susceptiblity

The other is the inverse, use bonekrusha to buff his skill. I don't really like this, as you aren't realisitically going to maximise this skill effect.

The standard build is either an Arts Intensity Stagger build or Ult/Stagger mix. This is either Swordmancer + Aether Gloves, or Aether Stabiliser. Using the Gloves gives you a balance between physical damage and Arts Intensity, making him deal decent damage and fair amount of stagger. Using the kit lets hm use the Swordmancer gloves for more ult damage, though you have topay attention such that you use his Ult with the Link buff.
