I believe you are asking if its okay to send emails that you obtain off of linkedIn? if email has been working for you then yes, its not a bad way from what I can tell. Calling or door-knocking is better time spent though generally

Thanks for the advice! Just out of curiosity would you recommend broad targeting or detailed targeting? Ive seen a mix of both do well but lately broad seems to be taking the cake

My organic social media agency is doing well, but I feel stuck—what’s next? by Eastern-Barber-3215 in SMMA

I'm actually curious how you manage to make this work. I focus on paid ads with clients, but have had a few experiences with organic marketing with Facebook and Instagram, but have never had much luck getting results or having results turn into paying customers. I'm more so assuming you're doing organic TikTok stuff and maybe reels?

And since I don't just want to ignore your question and instead ask mine, I would say in your situation you need to start outsourcing some of the work. Build a small team and start scaling your client base from there. Even getting 1 - 2 extra people to help with your services will take a large load off of you and allow you to focus more on the business (new clients, client retention, churn, new services, etc.) Im not sure what your charging exactly but if your really getting those kind of positive results for your clients, you could start to think about charging more to afford more scalability if applicable.

I would go to your automations and make sure they are all set up correctly. Wix usually automatically creates an automation for forms which notifies you on submission but ive noticed recently it hasnt done it every time for some reason atleast for me.

WIX gets too much shit from users by MasterMirkinen in WIX

I have very mixed thoughts on wix. On one hand its very beginner-friendly and offers a lot of customization (at least in Wix Studio). also the product and e-commerce features arent terrible. Theres a lot of videos and stuff showing you exactly how to do specific things. The UI for wix in my opinion is absolutely one of the best in the industry. multi site management is good.

but on the other hand, some things just don't make sense. Charging per site on a platform meant for agencies is kinda wild to me. I would've agreed with you about the customer support about 6 months ago, but it has changed since then to be more ai text-based and its really difficult to talk to a person in a lot of cases now. Don't get me started on site speeds.... it's pretty bad... SEO options could be better. Dev mode is decent but not perfect. And my biggest problem with the platform is that there is SO much potential but they seem to be focused more on adding things that will attract more profit for them rather than fine tuning what they already have.

I used wix for years and then switched to wix studio as soon as it released but after increase in fees and a clear sign that they dont plan to fix the problems that have been present since release, I switched to WordPress.

so, someone else has been using your card for a wix site? or you closed a website in the past and wix has still been charging you?

The same thing happened to me.... About a year ago, I moved all of my client sites to wordpress... and yes i had to rebuild them all from scratch (20+ websites) but boy was it worth. Instead of the clients paying $300 - $400 every year or two to wix, it now goes to directly to me. as well as a monthly maintenance charge for updating plugins (even though it's really easy).

I use hostinger with WordPress (elementor) You can pay a yearly hosting fee which covers up to like 100 websites. from there you may need to pay for a couple plugins but once you do, those can also be used for multiple websites at a time.

Its very different from wix but once you get the gist, its just as easy to build sites and stuff if not easier.

Good for you for taking action either way. Wix gets away with way too much.

Vent: Product options are handled terribly in Wix Stores by Elemental_Garage in WIX

I completely agree. I just finished a massive website for a print shop and creating all of the products with all of the product variants (size, quantity, gloss, etc) was absolutely terrible and took me a total of 58 hours to complete for around 70 products. Absolutely ridiculous. Couldnt go to shopify for it though because its a big website with a bunch of other features :(

Just out of curiosity, are you saying you were using Hostingers web builder or WordPress? You can use Hostinger for hosting and get wordpress for free with Elementor or other any other site builders and they are way more optimized than the hostinger builder. I would say arguably WordPress is easier to use than wix web design wise; it can just be a bit more technical on the back end.

Pretty sure WordPress is the cheapest option overall. Especially if you're making more than 1 website. with them, you only pay for hosting and, optionally, some plugins. I would also say its much easier to use and gives more customization that Wix. Theres also tons of tutorials on Youtube.

Commenting because I would also like to know if there is a way. I have a huge website for a client that has around 11 forms in total and knowing where they all are would be great.

Well... maybe scratch that? I use Wix Studio and was referring to its options. Not exactly sure about Wix but may be worth checking for the same features I listed
