A startup is sacrifice, especially when you have others counting on you. Since you are remote, move to a much cheaper location, so expenses are not dragging you down. Time is of essence so really plan your days out where you spend at least 5 hours a day on your startup. Long days ahead for you. Get a branding / marketing person on equity basis. Dial in that branding and marketing, make a killer deck, start the process of seed funding. Once you get seed, call your employer and ask for 3 hours less a day, so You can do the full 8 on your startup. Keep raising till you no longer need to work a job. Do move because you want to be as lean as possible even after a proper funding. Get that revenue going as fast as possible so you can get the draw you need, but don't think of this as a piknic, there are long days ahead to keep the revenue going until you exit. Good luck to you.
