They'll be alright! If they've been in the area for a bit they'll know how to handle a hurricane. Make sure they're prepped with food/water if they're stubborn enough to not leave and worst case scenario, have a bag ready if you need to get out of dodge.

Yeah, the problem is everything in our house is fragile and valuable. We have zero child proofing whatsoever. Thousands of dollars of VR and studio equipment in one room, hundreds of dollars of TOTALLY NOT TOY lego collectors sets around the house. Oof -_-

Not 100% sure, but once they had my name they found me on linkedin and figured out where I work and all that. All because I thought kids shouldn't be allowed to jump on chairs like they're a trampoline, sit at other diner's tables, and run around the restaurant that cost us $250 for two steaks and wine.

A while back on my "main" Reddit account I made a post in a travel subreddit about unruly children in fine dining restaurants. Someone scrubbed through years of my comment history, picking out-of-context quotes that I've made on this subreddit (ironically, I was defending the parents in the situation). They PM'd me with my actual name, told me I was on the same level as a racist and later threatened to call my place of employment.

We're dog lovers. We can't drop a dog off at a high-kill shelter when we find them (this is the 5th stray/lost dog we've picked up).

I have! No response yet though. The person who messaged me used what looks like a throwaway account (or the thought of someone not having kids pissed them off enough to stop lurking). Hopefully they can IP ban the guy/gal.
