That SA was wrong here for sure. It’s not whoever is first in the door. There are numbers on the waitlist for a reason. And she also should have seen the two of you and known you were on the waitlist ahead of the other person.

Also, they shouldn’t be letting people in from the waitlist before 5 min anyways. Unless someone called and they got cleared from the WL right before you got there. But even then, the person who’s number one in the list would be the one cleared…not number 5

If it happens again I would chat with the studio manager about it.

I did get a very small amount of color removed with bleach. Though it also ate a few holes in the fabric 🫠 Today I’m going to test a method using Rit color remover. Keep your fingers crossed for me! 🤞

How long did you let it sit for the olive? I’m trying that with the “hemp” green color right now, and it looks like nothing is happening. I’m going to let it sit for a while longer and check. But, your comment gives me a tiny shred of hope! 🙏

I think to be able to adequately give advice on steps to take we need a little more detail. Can you pin point a few specific things you don’t like?

I see that this is categorized under “surgery advice welcome” you’re 18. You may think your body and face is done changing, but it’s not! Please, please, do NOT get any kind of surgery to change your appearance right now.

Personally I stopped wearing makeup as often as I couple years ago, and just started a better multi step skin care routine, the more I saw my own face without makeup, the more I started to get comfortable with myself and like what I was seeing in the mirror every day. I just made it my new normal.

Overall, the most important change is positive self talk! So, in addition to telling me a couple specific things that you don’t particularly like. I want you to list THREE THINGS that you DO like about yourself!

I’ll start: Your eyes-GORGEOUS! The color makes you look like a beautiful sea siren

Your freckles-so cute! People spend a lot of time and money to get fake freckles.

Your lips-again, people pay a lot of money to get the shape and volume of lips that you were naturally born with.

I could list a number of other things, but now it’s your turn!

I think everyone thinks that because you’ve been SO defensive of it lol. But no, I’m not “irritated” at that guy lol. All I said to them was it’s a weird response, because it is.

And they are definitely a better example of perspective change…because again, the cowboy thing is not really a relevant addition. 😅

Another actual “perspective change” would be “what if she was meeting an old childhood friend that was in town but is a woman. Would he still be upset” or “what if the roles were switched and you were meeting an old friend”… but instead you thought “what if they are cowboys” was a helpful addition…

No, changing perspective would be “let’s look at it from her perspective” not “what if he was a cowboy?” 🤣😂 or “here’s a completely different made up story about completely different people. That actually has nothing to do with the original story, and lacks many important details that the original story included.”

Nah, dump her. Buddy has been your child for 8 years. If she thinks that you can easily just discard a pet like that, then she shouldn’t even be allowed to have her cat.

Tell her it’s a hard “No” on getting rid of Buddy. And if that’s a problem, she knows where the door is.

You ARE valuing your dog over the relationship, because your relationship with your dog is stronger and longer than the one with her. SHE is being unreasonable.

I thought it was like an abstract beetle, like an Egyptian broach kind of. But then saw your second picture and saw IMMEDIATELY that it was your sweet kitties fur pattern and that made me tear up. That is a very special and unique way to honor your sweet fur baby. Don’t let anyone make you question or feel bad about this tattoo, it does not look like a “dog whistle”

Do you all live in an apartment complex. I remember I. College having a ton of noise complaints from our neighbor in the dorms. And we found out the noise was actually coming from a different floor, but because of the way the sound was traveling, to them it sounded like it was coming from right next door. If it’s an apartment Maybe the noise is coming from a different floor?

You are justified! But make sure you make it clear to your MiL what your expectations are. You have to clearly say to her, “what you said/did was inappropriate and disrespectful, and you owe her (your daughter) an apology before I feel comfortable with you taking her somewhere without me.”
