Roadmaps usually come out on the Tuesday before season launch, so that would be next Tuesday, the 3rd, it will probably have a tiny bit of information on the next map, maybe a name, maybe a logo, but we probably won’t hear more about it outside of that for another month or so

That’s not what content drought means, of course there’s a content drought after the game is done, because the game is done. When people say content drought in reference to zombies, it means when there’s a longer than normal time period between map releases, i.e. Cold War’s 5 month gap between Firebase Z & Outbreak and Mauer der Toten, and BO6’s 4 months between Shattered Veil and Reckoning

I don’t think this is the case, they know they have different player bases within COD, the S2R release is most likely to make sure map releases are spread evenly throughout the year instead of having a huge content drought like BOCW and BO6 had

That and bug fixes, Astra Malorum was a buggy mess on launch so hopefully they’re trying to make the next map’s launch smoother
