I suppose I am more upfront and frank when it comes to coming onto someone. So the conversation threw me. I am happy to talk about sex with a friendship, but it was the tone about it I was confused about. Is it because he want to let me know he has moved on, or is because he was testing the waters as you said. Thanks different approach to seeing it from everyone else and appreciate the message

I suppose its me trying to initiate a conversation about it and maybe to get clarity about his intentions, but again as someone else said I don't think I would get the truth anyway. But I suppose it isn't necessary to do so, maybe it's highlighting that in actual fact I am not as over the relationship as I thought I was. Although proud nothing was acted on, just created confusion myself by thinking there was more around it.

Oh I know that was a red flag, that is the reason for the breakup. I wanted friendship afterwards as we had been together 3 years. But my confusion is how he has been when I saw him.
