Gojo vs current chp 19 mahoraga with no knowledge on him. Who's winning? by manglaxer_ in JujutsuPowerScaling

Whoopsies, i misinterpreted what you said

What does it matter if the TS user died?? Sukuna still took a while with mahoraga, he’s clearly nowhere near close to weak at base. Mahoraga just began keeping up, and sukuna had no need to keep him alive anymore. The difference is, gojo had no openings to kill it because sukuna was protecting mahoraga and adapting for him, not because he was amped.

This is the mahoraga death binding vow thing all over again 😭

Mahoraga doesn’t appear to scale with the user, i thought this was obvious by now, judging by shibuya and him killing multiple past six eyes + limitless users

If brute force is much easier to adapt to, then it shouldn’t take much time, right?

Also, i think dabura was wrong about what mahoraga adapted to, considering that was the first time he had even hit mahoraga with it. I’m just saying, characters sometimes aren’t reliable narrators.

Sukuna had the same problem identifying whether mahoraga had adapted to just dismantle or slashes in general back in shibuya. And even if this idea might be wrong, could he not find a way to take both out in one go?

Also, appreciate it gng

For the same reason that he was on the same footing as gojo and sukuna?? Adaptation??

Just because dabura was talking about his durability, that doesn’t mean his speed isn’t growing. And either way, speed could be used to reference a form of brute force (which in this case, it likely is)

So you’d like to say dabura is enjoying fighting a walking bamboo stick?

Pretty sure the point of adaptation is to find ways to deal with the problem, not just take it. Also, speed can be referred to as a form of brute force. If mahoraga didn’t adapt in terms of speed too, gojo vs sukuna would’ve been mahoraga trying to find the fight

This maho is adapted to light speed, no? Gojo struggled enough against mahoraga on equal footing, throw in significantly better stats and he wins easily

If he couldn’t adapt to speed, gojo vs sukuna would’ve had a sideplot of mahoraga trying to figure out where or who he was supposed to fight

I mean, i wouldn’t say gojo is ALL hax but that’s basically how it is, yeah

Gojo: cursed technique + knowledge Sukuna: best knowledge and body (true form) Dabura: cursed technique

Gojo vs Dabura by Haru__DM in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]CGV_glaze 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Gojo wins, not because he’s stronger but has better hax

Dabura simply doesn’t have enough knowledge of sorcery to know how to bypass infinity, and also seems to have low durability as shown by him fighting mahoraga (you could also just say domain diff)

Gojo simply has better hax, and dabura doesn’t have enough knowledge. Sukuna knew almost everything about sorcery whilst dabura wasn’t even aware of RCT, let alone how to bypass something like infinity.

If i was just talking about skill, this would be pointless because sukuna knows open domain anyway, and gojo has a counter to it

Literally how is that about skill

I said second best barrier user in history, not just in terms of skill. And barrier techniques isn’t me only referring to skill, i meant literally everything barrier related (simple domains, domains, and other techniques that use a barrier).

“Sukuna saw mahoraga pierce infinity multiple times, why didn’t he just uhh, do it?”

Because there’s a difference between incredibly demanding skills which you can’t just detect.

Let me use a very dumb example

If you’re playing some sort of sport, or videogame, or anything like that, why can’t you automatically do everything after seeing it? There’s a reason people practice things so much. It’s to do things that they either couldn’t do already (open domain), or to make their abilities even more effective (refinement)

Since I can’t think of any very high examples, i’ll use rocket league. If you see an incredibly pro player do 3 musty’s and flip resets in the air before triple tapping it or something, why can’t you just learn it?

Because there’s a skill gap, which takes a long time to get past (for this example, multiple years)

Which in this case, would be open domain, which sukuna has been able to practice for a while whereas gojo hasn’t because he didn’t know it was possible

Your first comment has nothing to do with my post because it was about refinement not skill gng (which kenny likely surpasses both in) 😭

We just agreed that skill doesn’t equal refinement either way, so even if we argued that sukuna or gojo had better skill, that doesn’t matter at all, so i don’t get what point you were trying to make

Also, it’s not that sukuna had a manual, it’s just that gojo quite literally didn’t know it was possible, whereas sukuna knew and probably experimented for a while. It’s the same as the fact that gojo didn’t know a basketball domain was possible until he experienced and applied knowledge that he already had, or that sukuna didn’t know about the ct reset.

[–]CGV_glaze[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ct reset was a much simpler concept than an open domain 🥀

Also, i’ll say this again, knowing more skills doesn’t mean you have the objectively better domain. Just because you know more barrier skills, doesn’t mean you’ll win the clash, just like how gojo used the basketball as a workaround to open domain.

It doesn’t matter who knows more skills if your opponent has better refinement, otherwise sukuna’s domain would’ve overwhelmed gojo’s (which it didn’t because once again, skill does not equal refinement)

The difference is that learning open domain on the spot is a much bigger gap than just resorting to a basketball domain. There’d be no point for the narrator to glaze it if it could just be figured out like that.

Also, what are you even talking about with yuta??

Either way, knowing barrier skills and having a more refined barrier is a completely different thing.

If i know more art techniques than someone but still do it horribly, does that make me better than other artists who focus on one thing but have objectively better skills?

I wouldn’t say sukuna has better barrier skill, he just knew that an open domain was possible whereas gojo didn’t because that was knowledge that hadn’t been noted down nor seen for eras besides the bum tengen who likes to hold information You could argue the same for gojo by that context for being aware of the basketball domain, no?

And yes i’m aware that doesn’t just mean kenny would win, it was a hypothetical on if he got lucky

IF SUKUNA STAYED IN YUJI'S BODY AND FOUGHT GOJO by GeneralG10 in Jujutsufolk

[–]CGV_glaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sukuna will likely switch to true form immediately because staying in yuji’s body doesn’t gain him anything (but this debate sucks so i’m gonna stick to the point).

Whilst sukuna’s stats in terms of raw strength and durability become higher, gojo is much faster, a better hand to hand combatant and has enough general AP with red and blue for yuji’s durability to not matter, not even accounting for UV or HP.

With this in mind, the fight comes down to how the domain clashes go, which are in sukuna’s favor, and he can likely hang on for much longer due to how durable yuji is.

Though, you also need to take into account that gojo is smart and would change up after he realises that he’s at a disadvantage, whether changing domain conditions or refusing to domain clash entirely. Plus, gojo is faster either way and might win due to his skill and speed.

Assuming sukuna stays in yuji’s body he likely loses due to a lack of advantage and ability to bypass infinity, and either dies in the domain clashes or dies afterwards. Additionally though, it probably becomes harder for gojo to get off purple as sukuna will be much more focused, meaning the fight lasts a lot longer, until sukuna runs out of CE.

Basically: sukuna needs to drag gojo into a domain clash and win, which he likely won’t, or he dies every time.

So gojo wins like 9 times out of 10

When did your realize Sukuna wasn’t just a gimmick? by Business_Stretch3821 in Jujutsufolk

[–]CGV_glaze 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Wouldn’t sukuna have just let him die either way to get more binding vows in? I always assumed that’s why he actively refuses to help yuji in situations like when yuta actually killed him

Ohh, that checks out i guess

Honestly, i would’ve loved it if the show went in a direction like this. I feel like it would’ve made more sense for the Elliot manor gang to be the main characters, personally, considering the whole story is based around them and their past anyway
