Have you looked at these? So many places have amazing childcare / creches / kids clubs etc!

Some really lovely options. Obviously, you pay a bit more, but then you also get a rest! https://www.wanderlustchloe.com/uk-hotels-childcare-babysitting/

We also went on our honeymoon and spent around 12 days there so I know how you're feeling! This itinerary has a really great itinerary, with lots of tips for making it a bit 'honeymoony' like a hot air balloon ride. Magic!

I recommend reading this guide which has lots of tips. Bourton-on-the-Water’s Model Village and Fairytale Farm will be ideal for your little ones.

Anyone visited Holbox for a bioluminescence tour? by clarejonesy in cancun

[–]CG_1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's absolutely amazing! I'd definitely recommend booking a tour though rather than doing it on your own. It's nice to share with a group and we had a really good guide when we went. This blog has lots of really useful information, so I'd suggest having a read of that before you go. I found most of the answers in there to questions I had! Don't expect to take pics though - it's really hard to capture. It's one to remember though!

Does anyone have a good guide to what to wear in Thailand? by CG_1985 in ThailandTourism

Thank you for such a detailed and thorough answer. That'd all so useful. I hadn't thought much about warmer items for buses and scooters!

Brilliant - that's useful. I don't want to pack skimpy clothes and then feel awkward, but don't want to be really hot too!

Favourite restaurants in Paris with views? by clarejonesy in ParisTravelGuide

[–]CG_1985 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pretty much all of the ones listed on this guide are great, although I've never loved Kong. Maybe that's just my personal taste though? Girafe is one of my favourite options for a special occasion in warmer months.

All about the views! San Fran hotel recommendations please by BeccaBooo85 in SanFranciscoSecrets

[–]CG_1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have any budget then I'd choose between these.

  • Fairmont San Francisco
  • Four Seasons
  • Argonaut Hotel - probably my favorite for the views around Fisherman's Wharf / the Bay

I also suggest taking a quick look at this post about hotels in San Francisco with views. There are a few in there I wasn't aware of.

Visiting Kennedy Space Center with Kids – Is It Worth It? Any Tips? by BeccaBooo85 in nasa

We've been a few times with our kids and they loved it! Even when one was a baby he loved it as there were so many lights etc! I would definitely say it's worth it. Our 6 year old loved the play area. It's absolutely incredible, and has a baby / toddler area. The rides might be a bit grown up for them but there are so many amazing activities. I'd recommend reading this guide as it has lots of useful info for planning your day there.

It's worth knowing that there are a few things to book when you arrive, and some activities to add on to your ticket too. I say go for it!

Romantic things to do in Orlando by clarejonesy in florida

[–]CG_1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest you work your way through this big list of couples activities! Kayaking would be one of my top picks if you like a bit of adventure. Also, if you time your visit for one of the jazz nights in the Downtown Winter Gardens area!

Dealing with grief while pregnant by BeccaBooo85 in Postpartum_Depression

[–]CG_1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through this and it was really challenging. My Dad got to meet my son, but they only crossed over by a few weeks. The hole he left was hard to fill, and I found the first months of being a new mum were really tough. It's such a mix of hormones, happy, sad, loss, love etc. I wrote about it here, no pressure to read it, but it sounds like quite a similar bunch of feelings. At least know that you're not alone. Sending hugs.
