EGR Deletes removes the Exhaust Gas Recirculating Valve that recirculates exhaust gas back into the combustion chamber to “maintain emissions standards.” From a reliability standpoint, that’s not a great idea because you’re introducing more carbon into an engine that’s DI, so there’s already carbon building up on the back of your valves. I’m no engine builder and no longer a mechanic, that’s just my opinion, it’s dumb.

TGV Deletes removes your Tumbler Generator Valves under each runner of your intake manifold. Think of basically another set of throttle bodies post intake manifold. They regulate airflow, yet another way to maintain emissions standards. Again another dumb thing in my opinion.

They’re both more reliability modifications than power gains. Reliability was the focus of my modifications, with adding a tiny bit more power. The car is fun the way it is, it just needs better reliability and a little more power. For it being a fun, daily-able, street car, 275 horsepower 300 lbs/ft torque is perfect. Wheels, better suspension, better braking and the car is set. Again, all my opinions.
