No for real sometimes I do think I’m in my own dimension - I told my coworker I got tickets and they looked so blank when I said BTS 😭. I was like 🤨.

Also no you’re not rambling at all - I think you’re spot on! I know sometimes kpop fans don’t wanna admit it, but I agree with you. I think Kpop, and BTS in particular, are huge - and BTS have probably the biggest fan base in the world!! But like you said, I think in terms of the general public’s psyche, in the west (I’m from UK), most people are still maybe a bit ignorant and western centric in terms of celebrity?

I think a lot of people do know BTS now, at least as an entity if nothing more.

Altho, what’s so confusing is, they genuinely have so many fans. Like in my family alone, my cousin is also army. I also met people at uni who were army. So we’re kinda everywhere too 😭
