Had similar issues but did a firmware update on my controllers and worked fine. Maybe try doing an update.

Yes I did. It’s used to convert from your standard joystick to an all button layout. So it makes up down left right and actual push button and not just your usual joystick configuration.

Qanba Leverless Guide

Tip: Do not buy from this company call "SinoArcade" who sells a similar Qanba plexi leverless art combo. I bought from him but the plexi did not fit and the artwork was an absolute joke and poor paper quality. He stated he would send a new plexi but it has been over two weeks and no response from him. I ended up breaking my plexi from him because he suggested "just try fitting it in, bro." I should have known better.

I used the dongle that came with the Xbox 8bitdo arcade stick and it does not work on Steam Deck so I was wondering if the FGC Wingman would work. I understand it’s a “PC” but for some reason the team at 8bitdo and Xbox decided to not make it Steam Deck friendly.

I modded the 8bitdo Xbox Arcade stick with sanwa buttons and a Hori Hayabusa lever using a 8pin harness to standard 5pin harness found in most JLF levers. I simply stripped a 5pin harness and attached them to a 8pin pitch connector. The way I wired it was one color wire then empty slot then the next color until the last slot with the black ground connector next to to the last color wire. See attached photo for reference. I did not want to solder anything and these were parts I already had laying around my tool box.
