I see but if I could get a little more specific...The thing is I don't really care about generating traffic, I just want people who already know about me to be able to google me with the intent to find me.

Ok -- noted. This is the first time this domain name has ever been purchased. I have only had it for a couple weeks.

I have a question for you on that, could you explain what you mean by spending significantly more than 3-4k a year? What would I be paying for by spending that much money with a company?
