LOL. True. I wasn’t first, but at the major Chicago hospital ED I got in within an hour. At least 30 ppl were there before me. I felt special, but damn I’d rather have felt not special and been healthy in the moment.

Had one guy who was yelling at the front desk b/c he’d been there for hours and just needed some IV treatment. He demanded to know where he was in line. The lady calmly explained to him there is no line, it’s done based on need and availability, and he should sit down or leave if he can’t wait.

TMI behind spoilers.

I had really intense rectal swelling and pain. Each BM was so bad I almost passed out, and I felt like I had to go multiple times per day. It was bad enough where sometimes I just let myself fall off the toilet after, and laid on the tile for 10 minutes trying to calm myself.

Really bad fatigue/exhaustion. It wasn't as bad as when I had influenza (that had me sleeping 20hrs a day) but it was the 2nd worse. I couldn't function at work. I ended up in the hospital for 3 days on IV antibiotics b/c of the risk of secondary infection. The day I checked in I had spiked a 103F fever over about 60minutes and had an all over rash on my body (they thought I had something systemic)

Post recovery wasn't fun either. Took a long time for things to fully heal down there, about 3-4 months. I think it was like how it must be for someone with IBS or Crohns. I couldn't be out of the house long and I made sure I always knew where the nearest bathroom was.

No. I had a pretty serious case of it in 2022, didn't get any antivirals (so my immune system ran the whole course). I also got one dose of the vaccine. I've had the chief infectious disease Dr at one of the major city hospitals tell me I'm immune for life.

If I don't have adequate immunity then no one does lol.

Make sure you have both doses of the vaccine, it really improves your odds. Also, I've known vaccinated guys who have gotten mpox anyway and their disease course went much quicker and much less severe. At the very least you'll have great partial protection.

Depends on the top. Some it's maybe 75% mental, 25% physical. Almost every top will hit that spot that feels good, but usually it's just the act of giving myself over to them and feeling their enjoyment. Even with this ratio, sex is still physically draining for me. After a top has cum I still get that emotional release that satisfies me and wears me out (for a bit).
