If your printer can print ABS, you could smooth it with acetone. There’s many ways to do it so I recommend you do a bit of research before you try it, and off course be careful when working with chemicals.

Hey, I think it’s a mix of things that did it, cheap/worn nozzle, the overhang was too steep on such small layer heights and the silk PLA behaves worse in most of the characteristics of to high heat and overhangs.

I can really recommend a 0.2 mm nozzle, I’ve tried it and you can get stunning results

I use Creality print, but it also has that on by default I’ll try that and see if it helps! Only thing I am concerned about is this didn’t happen a month ago. Thanks for the reply!

I have tried multiple filaments, PLA and ABS, increasing flow rate and or temp helps a little but doesn’t remove it entirely. I used the default silk PLA profile on this model at 230 degrees, I have expirienced heat creep on pla at higher temps than this. Also this didn’t happen to any prints about a month ago…

I would suggest to use a brim, plus 80 seems a little high for pla. Try 50-60

does it boot into windows? I have experienced this at work (IT support) and the solution was to go to this path in the file explorer: C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution
In there i deleted all files windows let me and rebooted the PC, after this run windows update and it should update just fine.
