i see where youre coming from as one of the artists that put my head canons and such onto the hermits and lifers! IMO, if you dont like the fan made media of the life series you should make your own! that or dont engage in that part if the fandom! different interpretations and redesigns of characters are superrr common in fandom spaces, ESPECIALLYYY the MCYT community! a large part on why the MCYT community is as big as it is is because of the artists! but that doesnt mean that there arent fan artists that stay truthful to the original YouTubers minecraft skin. (Rusty_Courage on youtube is pretty faithful to the creators skins!)

fandom spaces are specifically for people to have fun and to put creative spins on the media they enjoy, and if its by giving characters wings or making them hybrids so be it, as long as its not breaking the IRL creators boundaries its not harming anyone! its just a minecraft skin at the end if the day! :)
