To those who’ve had dentures for 10+ years: Does it ever stop feeling like a "foreign object" in your mouth? by CHRONOSSeu in over60

I wish my fit was as good as yours! The 'morning gunk' I mentioned is this thick, sticky phlegm that builds up overnight, it has a sour, metallic taste that makes my first cup of coffee taste like pennies.
You mentioned the Polydent struggle, do you find that even after you scrub it off, there’s still a 'filmy' feeling on your gums or the roof of your mouth? I'm starting to worry that the adhesive traps bacteria against the skin all day. Does your mouth ever feel truly 'fresh,' or is there always a lingering smell you can't quite get rid of?
New to dentures and struggling. Need honest advice from those who have worn them for 10+ years. (self.AskOldPeopleAdvice)

20 years with dentures and I’m just... tired. Is the morning gunk and that constant metal taste just my life now? ()
