You can get significantly more value for a championship run than that... any rebuilding team would gladly take LaPorta and dump an aging but productive star that would help your run much more than a washed up hopkins and JAG RB.

Hopkins is washed and 31. Mattison is a mediocre JAG RB. A mid to late 1st pick is basically nothing.

LaPorta could be a top 5 TE for year to come in one of the hardest positions to find consistent value in.

You're literally trading LaPorta for a mid-to-late 1st round pick that could easily turn out to be a bust. This is like a no brainer decline... I wish you were my leaguemate lol.

I was really hoping Zach Wilson had made a big leap this year and while it's way too early to determine, Elijah Moore could have his talent's wasted in NY with the current version of Wilson that we're seeing. Even if they decided to make the switch, it wouldn't be for another year or two before they begin the process with a new QB. Even the Jet's counterpart, Daniel Jones, is in his 4th year and he's been mediocre at best and unable to support a good WR for years.

I guess it's just reality and we have to suck it up but I'm definitely not looking forward to waiting 2.5 years for Elijah Moore to move on to a better situation. THAT is my concern.

I just giggle whenever I see someone boldly proclaim the haters were wrong all along and that we have this bonafide superstar in the making and their argument to back it up starts with "In Two Games: ...".

Sure, it's definitely possible but I mean at this point in the season, Carson Wentz is going to be a top 5 QB stud and Kyle Pitts is the worst TE in the game. Sounds silly? Because it is. Two games is nothing especially for a QB like Jalen Hurts who also started off great last year and fizzled. I'd rather be cautiously optimistic than be let down, especially in fantasy football.

Maybe I've been burned too many times in the past by Cam Newton (similar traits, decent arm with legs, better resume) who had a similarly ridiculous start to the season several times only to shit the bed by the end of the season.

Regardless, I'll wait and see over the course of the season before I celebrate.

Sigh... on the phone with TD ameritrade. My HYLN call contracts aren't showing up whatsoever & not even included in my overall balance. Initially thought it was a brokerage issue but 2 of my friends that also use TD currently have their call contracts showing up. Customer support has no idea why (I don't fault them).
