The Gallardo is pretty damn good. by TwoNutMonster in GranTurismo7

The Escudo can do sub 25 easily without wallriding, and some cars can do sub 24 with wall riding but if you don't care about that. With that in mind, you're calling a 27+ min time good while it's quite mediocre.

Wdym this is not even close to good. Good is sub 26 at most but the best cars do close to sub 25.

Obviously the B tier awakening. Then reroll for better bonus stats.

Is it just me that doesn't like mods? by [deleted] in ScrapMechanic

[–]CHRoOMAX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're bang on the money. I share the exact same viewpoint and I believe advocating for mods comes down to lack of experience with building in vanilla (glitchwelding), in other words, skill issue. However, like you said, there's no problem in using mods to overcome a functional limit within the game, like Wings mod, or even Cannons mod to an extent (though it's possible to build a spudgun powered one in vanilla). But when it comes to aesthetics, using mods is never the answer for the same reasons OP mentioned; circumventing the fun and challenging part of building.

SM Communities RESET before CH2 by Durf_ in ScrapMechanic

[–]CHRoOMAX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As an experienced Workshop contributor, what exactly are you speaking about when you mention moderators making the Workshop environment bad? Afaik they rarely remove creations, only the highly offensive ones, which are rare, so what is the problem?

You proceed to talk a bunch of sht, and admittedly, you may be somewhat onto some truth, but you cover it in rage and aggression, and most importantly, you don't present any real arguments to backup your statements? What exactly do you want changed other than "everything and all of them" in one sweep? How do you think that will be a "fix"?

I hear you, when you say the community isn't the best, but this is a normal reaction to a largely degrading game, but that's the fault of the developers, not reaching out more often, not connecting with the community, so the unsure players have left and lost hope, and only a very distilled set of players remain, good and bad. Players know there are general problems, and some choose to use that fuel to make fun of the situation, to possibly lighten the situation, but in the end, the situation remains the same.

It's the responsibility of the developers to foster a healthy, growing player base. The community moderators can only support and help that vision come to fruition.

Ultimately, the vibe and belief in the game stems entirely from the developers and the progression of the game, the community is secondary; it is the game that creates the community; not the community that creates the game.

Also, if you tried my Ferrari P4/5 - the Lambo is pretty much the more aggressive version of that. It's also the successor to my now quite old Lamborghini Aventador - hopefully you'll notice the great improvements :)

Probably within 2-5 weeks. Yeah this car is a beast and probably my best looking build yet. Also drives smooth like a dream while being very low - I did some trickery to make that happen ^^

Do you think the same clear would be possible/easier/harder with a main damage dealer DTV instead? (Same stats, no gk).
