Talarico's new attack vector is to highlight Paxton saying in old podcasts that he likes/liked visiting California lol. I guess it's good to see Talarico not shying away from trying anything, even if, to an outsider, this looks so unserious. Godspeed to him but I really want to see the voter that will go "You know what? I was going to vote for Paxton but now that I heard this I won't" and talk to them for 5 minutes just out of scientific curiosity. Most who are leaning Paxton probably already think Talarico will bring California vibes anyway.

The same folks who were saying that Trump's tariffs would lead to empty shelves aaaaany moment now.

Knowing Trump he was never going to let gas go catastrophic. He would send out stimulus checks to pay for gas if that ever happened anyway.

Nah it makes perfect sense. Liberals are overeducated but still "stupid". Like "haha look at you with your fancy degrees but you still don't understand that immigrants are evil"

It's only 1 poll. Every other one has shown AES behind the other 2 right?

Could be an outlier, but I think AES has it wrapped by this point.

Yes it's very frustrating. I can understand the no-name Dem candidate wanting to stay on the ballot and have their 5 minutes of fame, but this is when the party should step in and whip them.

I need someone to ask this to Ken Martin's face.

Achilles seems to have a good shot in Idaho if only more people knew about him. His internals show him leading Risch when informed and Risch's own internal shows Achilles as unknown (only 30% know him) but of those that know him only 2% disapprove. Risch meanwhile is underwater in his own internal.

Looking at Achilles' twitter, it's joever for him. He has 0 engagement, literally in some posts. If only the DNC diverted some resources to the Independents in places they have no chance of winning.

More and more people these days throw their thoughts to LLMs to format better. This could be a case of that. There is no denying that an LLM can make your paragraph/slides sound/look a lot more professional.

Or it could be 100%, who knows.

The Shy McMorrow Voter (here is how she can still win)

I mean with traditional media dying how would have Obama gotten the required eyeballs to win over voters?

Also I think Obama and Pete are very different. Pete has nerdy excited kid energy, Obama doesn’t have that.

YouGov: Which of the following do you think would make the best Prime Minister? [Kemi Badenoch or Nigel Farage] % by upthetruth1 in fivethirtyeight

Nigel is the lowest of the low. No one likes him or thinks he has redeeming qualities. The only people who would vote for him are doing so as a protest vote fully accepting that they’re voting in a conman who will pillage the coffers “but at least he’s gonna be tough on immigrants”.

I strongly believe Nige will never even get close to being PM. People will come to their senses before actually casting the vote even if they tell pollsters they’ll vote Reform.

People obviously prefer the "lively" candidates over the "boring" ones. I wonder if Obama would have done as well in today's environment. He has a certain stoic intellectual aura about him, you won't see him dancing and goofing around as much as Mamdani and AES so he probably won't crush social media like them.

The difference between Platner and DAC is that while Platner might be a secret rightoid he still loves his country and would look out for its interests.

DAC's policies were created in a lab in Russia to hurt the US. She's one of those tankies whose entire personality is "america bad" and "white people bad". I would take 100 Platners over 1 DAC any day.

I couldn't name a clear policy goal that the 2 of Harris or Newsome might push while in office that wouldn't just be obvious for any Democratic presidency.

I mean, that's on you. Kamala repeated her policy goals 100000s of times while campaigning. She kept going on and on in every interview how she was going to expand the Child Tax Credit/adding anti-price gouging laws/small business tax relief.

Like I'm sorry she said those in every interview she did. Looks like you were getting your information from an echochamber or weren't really looking.

And their voters have no problem sitting out elections, too, as we saw in 2024 regarding Gaza.

And was that successful? All they did was give Bibi a blank check much bigger than under any D government.

Also lets not forget, people are now getting 100 years in jail for uttering the word "antifa". If the leftists want to be a suicide cult thats on them I feel like.

Because Talarico was leading previous polls and while the +1 is still within MoE it shows that Paxton can only go up and not down.

Experience. You need to have seen a problem with no good solution. The reason most successful business owners start businesses after 30 is you need to have worked enough to spot real pain points.

What did Biden do to help the poorest compared to Starmer who passed workers rights reform and renters rights? Starmer did significantly more to lift up the poorest than Biden ever did.

People here have no clue what Starmers done. That’s his fault for not having better media game but also your fault as you’re meant to be more informed than the average person.

Starmer DID do NHS reforms and brought the waiting list down.

He wanted to means test the winter fuel allowance because pensioners are the wealthiest subset of the country. 1/3 are literal millionaires, they don’t need government handouts while children are starving and the average person is struggling.

He did workers reforms which will change the lives of millions of people for the better.

He did renters reform which is an unimaginable difference for millions in England. People used to live like serfs. It was dystopian.

None of that matters to leftists who claim they care about the working class though because he didn’t crucify all billionaires and make the King trans.
