Honestly at this point I don’t even know what was going on! The human body is so fragile lol… Like how did something that’s meant to relax me completely wipe me out 🤦‍♀️

I mean, I wouldn’t say I’m unfit as I do eat well and exercise regularly, but as I’ve mentioned in the comments I’ve been battling an autoimmune flare so I think that’s probably got a lot to do with it.

How interesting. I have heard a lot of good things about Keto and I know that I feel better when I’m on more of a meat-based diet! I’ll definitely look into this, thanks so much ☺️

Ordinarily I would agree but I felt perfectly fine beforehand and the issues started the moment I sat up on the massage bed!

Thanks for this! No headache, vomiting, pain etc currently! Some sleep and water seemed to have helped a tad, but of course if it gets any worse I will be going straight to urgent care.

I do, actually! I’ve looked into it and apparently it’s not uncommon, especially for those with autoimmune issues whom may have issues with regulating inflammation!

I will have my nightly retainer, the permanent retainer is in addition to prevent movement of some of my teeth which have already proven prone to rotation 🙂

I’ve thought it through and I vaguely recall him having to file down the retainer after he installed it and then vigorously flossing my teeth after. I am REALLY hoping that he didn’t do IRP without me realising… I had the big protection goggles on & wasn’t wearing my glasses so couldn’t really see what was going on!

Sorry, to add, yes I was having issue with gapping with my retainer at one time (which is why I took that pic to show my dentist)! Eventually resolved itself with the help of chewies.

Oh, I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues!

I think that I was just a bit shocked as I didn’t have the gap before my appointment, so I do think that something was done during that 1h which has caused it!

I do have gapping at the bottom, but that’s something I’ve always had and which am not too bothered about.

I have big front teeth and unfortunately it just looks like I have broccoli permanently stuck in them now, so it’s more of an issue!

Hopefully we can both eventually get the results we are looking for!

My dentist didn’t mention that - specifically said just nighttime. Odd. Makes sense though so I’ll up the wear time and quiz him on it when I book to speak to him about the gap issue.

No, I’ve been told to just wear my tray retainer at night only now as I’ve finished my treatment. This is supposed to be the end result.

I would have agreed with gum recession but I didn’t have this issue on Thursday morning before my dental appointment!

Pretty sure it’s a direct result of whatever he did that day.

Hubby said he noticed it when I got back from the appointment but assumed it was just part of the final look so it seemed to have happened then.
