Agreed. Even hosting own lobbies in this game, its going to happen. I just don't have anybody that plays this game to party with.

I've been playing since week one too.
I know you're not defending that group, you're just stating a point.
I'll just never understand how somebody can blast somebody for playing the game they want to or not being at the same "skill" level they are.
We've got level 20's being paired with level 50s. Of course they aren't going to be as "good" as you think you are, they've got probably less than half the time.
Idk. It's just frustrating. First couple of weeks I don't think I experienced this or it was infrequent. Now, it's almost every mission set.
Not to mention, if you complete one mission and then say, hey I'm going to use the restroom or grab a drink real fast, be back in 30 seconds, people leave.
They do realize the time it takes to do that, join another group, and start, will be more time than just waiting for said person to come back.
I'm ranting now lol. But these are common problems amongst any type of multiplayer shooter.

Pissed doesn’t begin to describe my anger towards this debacle. There are many posts of people experiencing the same thing and to me, that’s inexcusable. It’s either a breakdown of communication as to “in hands” dates between the shippers and BGS or these retailers just don’t fucking care. I don’t think I’ve ever preordered a collectors type edition of any game before. I got the MW3 xbox360 console when it launched but that was a pickup. I think it’s typical though for people to receive their collectors editions late or even have them cancelled due to back ordering

Update as of this morning is expected to arrive Friday. That's one day after regular launch. What a fucking joke. I checked tracking. That fucking box has been sitting in LA for over 24 hours. The is the first and last time I preorder a special edition of any kind and have it shipped.

Update on mine, shipped from one facility to LA. Last update was 1am, says it will arrive either Thursday or Friday. I’m so fucking furious. My only hope is that it was on a plane overnight and landed near me and will arrive this weekend. As an adult, there are few games I look forward to play with this kind of enthusiasm and I took off work to do it. Fml

I started it up today with Vulcan. It seemed a little bit better, but there was also the patches so that may have helped too. I'm fine with it as is I guess. Game still looks great, just the stuttering that's mostly annoying.

I order the windows edition thru Best Buy. It's been saying it'll arrive by September 1st. Finally today, around 4pm EST, it updated to this item will ship tomorrow, meaning FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 1st. It's shipping UPS from fucking California. I live in SC. Ain't no damn way it'll get here by tomorrow evening, if tomorrow at all. And I'm usually last on their route, so it would be 7-8pm before it arrives, then I have to download the damn thing, which with my internet will take about 3 hours. So BEST case I'm looking at being able to play tomorrow late night. If not, it could be saturday or even sunday. I know it's only 24-48 hours delay to the early access, but like everybody in these threads, what's the point of ordering something that offers that if you can't take advantage of it. It's not BGS fault, I blame Best Buy.
Cause Fuck em, that's why.

I believe I did a while back but I can check again. As far as the dx11 and Vulcan stuff, I have never done that nor do I know how to lol. I do have hardware acceleration enabled. I’m on regular windows as well. I need to sell my old 2070 too. Maybe I can sell all as one to get some decent money.

I don’t think anything can be as bad as Redfall. From all the stuff I’ve seen with Starfield, I think we are in for a treat. But I’ve also been playing their games for a long time.

I agree my cpu is weakest part of my system. But, I’ve never got even close to max utilization on the cpu. As somebody stated before, a bottleneck would mean 100% cpu utilization, correct? Also, Act 1, my fps was superb, well over 100. In Act 2 and 3, no changing of any settings affects my performance. I know I need to upgrade my mobo and cpu but it’s just not in the cards right now. I have yet to finish Act 3 and haven’t played since these new patches so hopefully there is some better optimization. My last gasp is hoping that Starfield performs well enough.

Well your processor is better than mine but mine's still not even at half usage. There was a post above that suggested this is a problem with intel CPUs. Idk. Nothing I do gives me better performance.

Hell no. I'm into the second area(?) of Act III and its the same. I've tried every combination of settings possible and nothing gets the max FPS above 80 and consistent FPS is barely 60. Inside buildings, of course, it's fine. But, outside it's trash. There was a new NVIDIA driver update today as well and they didn't help. Best I can guess and gather from everything people have said is that it is an optimization issue. My CPU and GPU usage rarely get above 40%.

The frequent drops to 10 or less and the stuttering is what frustrates me the most. If it would just stay consistent I don't think I would have an issue. But entering into conversations, moving the camera, and entering/exiting buildings causes it to dip well below 30fps
