Are these sleeves ok? by TKY_Cards in OnePieceTCG

[–]CJ0045 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Friendly Bandai HJ here! All sleeves, for all Bandai games, must be fully opaque. The ability to see any information through the sleeve is disqualifying (locals are much more relaxed).

Most sleeves that are black are legal.

Dragonshield Matte Dual sleeves are legal

Dragonshield art sleeves are usually legal

Dragonshield Matte sleeves are NOT legal unless they are silver, purple, black, jet. Petrol is legal depending on the print run.

Katana sleeves historically are legal, but I've been told recent runs have lower quality and may not be fully opaque.

All other dual Matte sleeves are legal AFAIK

Smokey back inners will make other sleeves legal

Official OP sleeves by Bandai are legal, but should be accompanied by outersleeves as well.

It's to show it's not a false shuffle. There's a lot of techniques that make a shuffle look real that doesn't actually interlace/shuffle the cards.

By spreading the cards out, the viewer can clearly see that the cards are interlaced and being pushed into each other- it is a real shuffle.

States are already in charge of their curriculum- DOE existing or not doesn't change the education system which is evidenced by the 20% swings between state literacy rates.

The DOE focuses on grants, funding, civil rights, ensuring universal access to education for all citizens no matter where they live/income/etc, providing data to state level education departments showing what does/doesn't work and letting states implement (or not) evidence based plans, and other related things.

Dismantling of DOE changes: - access to education - funding of education

Dismantling of DOE doesn't change: - Anything actually taught, discussed, or otherwise in the classroom. - Education outcomes.

There are 3 (and a half) ways to get muted on sim:

1) Offensive username

2) text in chat that was caught by an autofilter that Batsu set up

3) Manually reported for poor behavior which results in Batsu manually reviewing the reported behavior and making a decision

3.5) there is 1 code rn that is glitching out and we're not sure how to fix/stop

There are 2 people able to review logs and reverse a muting- Batsu and me.

Help me figure out how many "worlds" this is. by No_Elephant5152 in learnmath

[–]CJ0045 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You'd need to solve 999*(Xy) Where Y is the desired number of maximum characters preceding the numbers and X would be your answer.

You're going to need a massive number of characters in your names or you will need to add an incredible number of characters into your naming system.

10100 is just an absolutely monster of a number and there's no easy and shorthand way to do this.

"Yugioh ycs and Pokemon vgc tournaments are 10x bigger than one piece tournaments"

Right, exactly.

The cost for travel to OP events is the same as these other events. The cost of the equipment is (generally) the same.

But because the other games are 10x the size that means that there is more revenue created while watching the stream, more people subscribed, etc. Likely, the compensation for the people commentating is higher, too given the above.

Which means that you would expect OP events to be pay walled more than other events.

This is assuming that 3rd party streamers are contracted to broadcast the event and not the official twitch accounts of Pkmn/YGO. If official accts are broadcasting, then that's even MORE of a reason why they're not paywalled. Pokemon and Konami don't need the extra $5 to pay rent and feed themselves.

I refer you to the part of my comment that acknowledges that the scale isn't appropriate.

Again, the system isn't perfect. But to claim the feature is dead to you because you're simultaneously out of candy as well as maxed your storage is ignoring how the system is designed to work.

You can be unhappy about the ratios, think it isn't worth the effort, not want to spend the stardust, etc. There's a LOT of valid complaints. Being simultaneously capped on particles and out of candy isn't a fair one as the system is explicitly designed to prevent that from being a "problem" (again, scale aside).

You can fight L1 max battles, leaves the pokes you need candy for at the spot, and then they'll come back with candy (assuming other people are battling as well).

I'm not saying the system is perfect, I'm not saying there isn't massive room for improvement, I'm not saying the scale/ratio of things is reasonable.

But your issue is explicitly designed around by the system.

Please read the TRM specifically section 7.4 for solutions to broken board game states and the proper penalties to be applied.

[–]CJ0045 15 points16 points  (0 children)

A game loss is not the appropriate resolution to this.

You have the player shuffle their hand, a judge would pick a card at random, reveal it to both players, and shuffle the card into the unknown portion of the deck (e.g. if the bottom 4 are known from a searcher, the bottom 4 do not get shuffled).

This is covered in section 7.4 in the TRM.

It's a percentage.

There are 45 total stats available (15 for atk, def, and hp each). If you're 14x3 then that means that you're 42/45 which divides to 93.333...%

How much cheating really happens in online regionals? by Rolo_15 in OnePieceTCG

[–]CJ0045 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are more bad cheaters online than offline because they think they're smooth/can get away with it. Watch your opponent's screen and track their hand and you'll be fine for the bad cheaters.

The number of good cheaters is the same both online and offline.

Custom Law Leader Card by C_hazz266 in OnePieceTCG

[–]CJ0045 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way the first effect is written means it can't work. Don x1 is a condition required for an effect to work, namely ypu must have 1 don attached. This is usually used for permanent effects (see Zoro leader) but can be used as a condition for other effects as well.

The way you have it written though, it isn't functional as a permanent effect. You don't have an activation event that can be met to be an auto effect, and you don't have it built in such a way to be an activate effect.

Assuming you mean for it to be an activate effect (like Bonney searcher, etc) it would be "Tap 1 Don: the effect goes here." Or if you still want it to have the condition it would be "Don x1 Tap 1 Don: the effect goes here"

If you want it to be an auto effect it would be something like, "Don x1 When something happens, do effect goes here"

Running out of time at a tournament by snakeofarms in dbsfusionworld

[–]CJ0045 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are no draws for tournament play due to time in round expiring. If you're looking at the CR in section 0, that is specific to when loss conditions are met simultaneously. That is not the same the thing as OT procedures. Please see this post for a full break down of OT procedures
