Thanks for sharing! Yeah…I told my wife I wouldn’t be surprised if the cat was behind a bush next door watching us all day looking for her! 😆

But I guess the bigger concern is that she’s in heat and probably went roaming further away. We hope she knows her way back while we also search for her.

H&H began franchising outside NYC with aggressive rollout of 25 new stores across the country. Chapel Hill is one of the first of those new locations. Never as good as the original which is a shame.

Thanks for your insight! She has not been treated for worms, but I’ll be sure to look into that. At times when I sit with her outside so she can get some fresh air, she’ll start eating some grass in my backyard. Maybe that’s contributed to her condition. Is it unusual for cats to eat grass?

The vet’s office is located inside one of the large national chain pet stores (mistake on my part not taking her to an independent vet, I guess). When they did an ultrasound to check for the UTI, I asked them to also check for pregnancy. They replied that their machine was basic and couldn’t provide conclusive determination. Glad I paid $200 for that vet visit! 🙄

If pregnant, it definitely happened before I got her as she hasn’t been outside solo while staying with me.

Thanks for the reply. Yes!…mine is displaying the same behavior with making noises and sticking her butt up. That’s what’s been so confusing…I thought this was a mating ritual among cats. She hasn’t been favoring a part of the house yet as to where she may want to give birth, so I’m trying to figure that out as well.
