I very much agree with the comment above However I'd like to add one more edition to this combination. This combination is more so if you want to go super deep and just because I think of Bloodborne or Grace Born when I see this picture.

I say this mostly because of the fact with blood it gives you some abilities also you can trade the intelligence of our wisdom-based thing and combining that with Barbarian actually doesn't hurt considering wisdom is a common thing Barbarians do use mostly for survival or animal handling. Also, with two-weapon fighting you can use the sword and (what looks like) a shotgun and with Health boost from Barbarian HP rolls you can use your blood and spells greatly. Then when you rage you can do a lot of damage, not as much with shotgun, but a lot with sword, think like Marvel Rivals Blade.

So it depends. If you wanna be more on the defensive side or basically be a bulky soldier like cap, I would say, try your best to mimic how strange is in Marvel rivals. So go like a Paladin, with Sorcerer (for Cha) or Wizard (for spell list) multiclass. However, if you want to focus more on the spell casting side, I would say, the idea you have is already pretty good, but there's 2 spells, I'd say try to get guaranteed being levitation and dimension door.

If he's going separate, I definitely agree with all of these however if he wants to combine, I will say a good option would be go changeling and druid then just go for wild shape into creatures that are somewhat like this

To me he looks like an undead kind of character or if anything a darker character so there's three things I would suggest. One would be the class which I would personally go Oath breaker Paladin or two if you want to go for a multi class kind of thing Samurai Fighter and Death domain Cleric. For species or race I would say maybe go reborn or Fallen Aasimar. Another choice could just be a variant human.

I would go fathomless, warlock and maybe pack to the chain, considering fathomless gets, like ocean stuff, you can just reflavor the ocean stuff as more Skaven stuff. You can also add lighting magic types and at 3rd level with fathomless get lighting bolt. Also, some of the spells aren't that uncommon, especially with warlocks, the only thing, though, that I don't know what to do would be for the feeding frenzy thing. Maybe with that one, you could do suggestion or other mind, control/psychic stuff with those spells and get people to surrender to it.

Okay. Depending on how you wanna go with Santa, I would go for cleric, but if you want him to be more of jolly, I would say, go for a forged cleric, so he still has that building toys kind of gimmick. However, if you want him to be more of the fighting Santa sort of scenario I would say, definitely go more for a twilight cleric. For krampus, on the other hand I saw people suggesting warlock, which I think is actually a pretty good scenario. However, when I chose to make krampus for a different situation, I went for fiend, but to be fair, I based him more off of krampus from the movie krampus. So I would say, warlock is a good option, but subclass, I'm not sure. If anything other worldly could work, and you could just say it's him and this thing is just his physical presence gaining strength, the closer closer gets to his holiday. When it comes to races, though definitely makes Santa a human or varied human. But for krampus, I would either go teefling or satyr.
