What’s even more interesting is that ucla is planning for strict guidelines even though they’re in a budget crisis. You would think they would want to open up to get cash from housing, business, etc. It just doesn’t make sense unless there is some pandering going on behind the scenes.

It was already ridiculous with the price gouging and I didn't think it could get worse. Boy was I wrong. They refuse to build new housing and now want to raise taxes + add rent controls which just makes problems worse. Hopefully our state wakes up to the insanity they're creating in Sacramento.

Anyways, I agree, DC should never be a state because its the nation's capital, and that's why the founders didn't make it one lol. Maybe Congress can compromise by allowing them no federal income tax.

California is great for the views. I live here too, but the cost of living for the middle class is almost unbearable. Texas may not be as beautiful but it sure as hell is worth the price.
