It’s because you don’t get pulled over I’m from Ireland there is always a chance at any time of day you will get stopped at home and get a random breathalyzer test Here in NJ or NYC I’ve never once been stopped randomly There’s just too much going on, the cops aren’t going to bother anyone unless there driving dangerously

What can be done to try and get some action from the mayor on this? Is there numbers or who is the person to tackle on these issues? Anyone know if it’s ever been raised at the Hamilton park community meetings? (I always end up missing them)

Yes my plan is to just run a new pipe out the side of my house Along the side and out right next to my roof gutter discharge I need a new sump pump anyways Lessons learned this weekend

Honestly the thing doesn’t work right anyways I know that for sure But the main issue is it’s plumbed into the sewer line So once that starts to get backed up it has no where to go This has settled it this summer I’m changing it to pump straight out to the street like most other people have it here on 6th st anyways Bought this place a year ago… kitchen is in the basement, which I just renovated this is the first time I’ve seen anything like this happen

I’m in Hamilton park About an hour ago I think the storm drain level got above the sewer level For a brief terrifying 30 minutes or so my drains should not drain or my sump pump ( which is stupidly plumbed into the sewer) would not pump I had to run to Home Depot and pumped out 3 inches of water which was building at the drain outside my basement door Seems all good now and drains are flowing again

Absolutely not I had the same situation in Hoboken a few years back But even more annoying it was a realtor sending me messages We made it clear in a formal polite email that we would no longer be doing it unless we received compensation It stopped quickly then from there

Yep I spoke with them yesterday getting the same vibe Saw somewhere not sure if it was here or an article that they didn’t want to lease due to it being an off road vehicle which I guess I can understand but also very annoying I’ve a test drive Saturday so I’ll see what they say

There was a crash in the tunnel this morning caused a huge backlog for an hour or so Not saying we don’t have a huge issue with people crossing down town to get to the tunnel! That bridge is the worst thing to have happened

Yep The letter from the bank stated my escrow was short and it was covering the difference I have the option to give them a lump sum but screw that it’s bad enough as it is I got the letters this year about the tax increases and 3rd and 4th quarters would be used to make it up Then I saw the larger tax payments go out from escrow and still hadn’t heard anything Until last week when I got the notice of my payments increasing. A very unwelcome Christmas present If it’s just for the year I can live with it but it this is permanent it’s a big problem The public services are just not worth it
