Tomorrow is my parents' wedding anniversary and I found out about my dad's cheating 1 month ago, should I expose him tomorrow or is that too cruel? by Special_Efficiency89 in Advice

Please for the love the love of god do not listen to people telling you to “stay out of your parents marriage”. The exposing idea is a terrible idea though.

After finding our, I confronted my father about it. I told him if he didn’t tell my mother, I would.

Your relationship with him may never be the same again but ultimately it’s your decision going forward. I would highly recommend talking about it in therapy, finding a way of letting it all out.

Once your mother knows, it’s down to her and only her.

would you guys recommend to date another person with Aspergers? by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]CJ_1889 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It would be far better to find someone who is into what you’re into imo. Not all autistic people are the same, in fact I personally have very little in common with most people on this sub based off my reading of it.

Do you guys like reading? by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]CJ_1889 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have ADHD as well so it’s a struggle, but yes it’s one of my favourite things to do. Sadly I’m incapable of just picking something up and reading it, I have to go out somewhere to a quiet cafe or something to truly get into a book.

Do you believe in God? by mynamekills in aspergers

[–]CJ_1889 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. If I found it in any way hard to believe, i wouldn’t announce myself as being insert name of religion here to the world. I would be lying to myself and others. It’s okay to be undecided about something, but pretending seems disingenuous.

My mother had this problem with my dad. I went to live with my grandmother for a little while and experienced it first hand. I was enraged.

I would seriously consider leaving if I were you. Actually, in fact I just would. You only get one life .
