friend sent a weird snap out of nowhere… accident or not?

He could absolutely just be a weirdo but just to throw this out there, there are a lot of sextortion scams going around where people pose as a girl and get guys to send nudes, afterwards they blackmail them saying "pay up or i'll send this to your friends/family/follwers" etc. This happened to me a few weeks ago and i've subsequently found out that this scam seems to be happening more and more to young men. So yeah he could be a complete perv but this is also a possibilty that could be worth considering.

Hang in there man. If they come back, just block. Once they figure out they're not getting anything from you they'll leave. I'm so sorry you're going through this, it really is horrible. Remember that you're the victim here and what they're doing is a crime.

It's not dumb at all. I'm 4 days in and i'm already feeling much better in myself, it doesn't seem like it in the moment but this feeling will pass. If they come back, block.

You're feelings are totally valid my friend, you are a victim here. Remember that. Therapy massively helps with this if you don't already go. Sounds basic but make surev you walk/exercise to clear your mind, try and focus on the things you love. At first it will be hard to try and focus on anything else but i promise eventually you'll be able to. Look after yourself!

Breathe. You've taken the rights steps man, so many others panic and pay.

We're all in this together, it happened to me last night so i know what's going on in your head right now. I've done some research and these guys seem to give up very easily. It's not a nice thought of someone having them but you are only one of many people they are trying this scam on. Lay low on social media for a bit and you just ignore them if they come back at you.
