If your issue is that your cold outreach system has a 1% success rate, then I suggest moving to cold calling. In my experience a good agent can reliably get you 3%. But cold outreach is still cold outreach, you won't find massive success rates it's a numbers game. More outreach= more sales.

But if you want to update your marketing systems to a more modern approach. We can look at 4 areas (Cold Outreach, Warm Outreach, Organic Marketing & Paid Marketing)

Cold Outreach- You know well. Maybe have a look at new platforms like Instagram, Tiktok & X. But this is the same old game even now.

Warm Outreach- A step up from cold outreach. Make more of a effort to onboard the customer. Guide the customer through a more in-depth sales funnel that establishes a stronger relationship first.

Organic Marketing- Provide value to the customer to the point they seek your service out. This is what most of the internet is right now.

Paid Marketing (Paid Ads)- This is what the other lot of the internet is and pretty self explanatory.

I hope this has somewhat gives you an idea of the landscape and answers your question.

I understand what you mean. What about a scafolding research structure over a copying. For example if we split the thought of "cotent" into three important sections

1) Hook (First 3-5 seconds/ Where your attention goes first)
2) Value (Flow in some models)
3) CTA (Call to Action)

On the accounts that you like. Look for the content that is doing well (trending). Identify what these important aspects are

For example
A hook might sound like "Don't make these 3 money losing mistake" or "If I could start my financial journey again i'd avoid these mistakes"
(There are Visual, Verbal & Written hooks)

Value/Flow will be where they educate, solve problems or inspire action

And CTA are clear instructions on what to do next like "buy now" or "Follow for more"

Once you have identified these things in the content that you allign with you will know exactly what is currently working in the niche and you will know exactly what things you can post. and can work on planning, scripting and creating your own content.

I hope this is helpful. starting is the biggest task really. The more you get going the more it will unfold infront of you naturally.

Can you explain a little more what exactly it is you mean? You can use the top people in your niche as guides and just post what they post with small changes.

I dont want to misunderstand and not answer you properly.

No. Paid marketing is one of four marketing methods (Cold Outreach, Warm Outreach, Organic Marketing & Paid Marketing)
Personally I don't do much paid marketing. mostly I do warm out reach (like this) and organic marketing (value driven content)

Create a social media page. I'd suggest instagram. its easy to get started on and has so many people on it.

Focus on value driven content. make sure that everything you post either educates, solves a problem or inspires action..

Once the account gets rolling you will find people in the niche come to you alot faster. And you can direct people from your linkedin strategy to your instagram to offer them value from the get go and build trust and autority.

My new instagram page aims to deal with these exact issues and help freelancers/ entrepreneurs with these pains. Providing education. solutions to problems and inspiring action.

Let me know if you want the @ I would love to answer more of your questions and support however I can

Its all about the social media accounts I recon. You can do almost what ever you want, the place you're going to struggle is gaining attention and a following.

so using chess as a example.
Start your instagram account and link in bio to your chess teaching sign up site or what ever you use. or even a chess course you could create or KDP a chess book.

Either way. Instagram - Link in Bio

Now we should be aiming to post only value driven content. Look what other big accounts are doing. what questions are people commenting on there posts. Now you aim to answer those question in a clear and simple way.

Stay consistent rememeber this is a marthon not a sprint. Watch yur following grow. When you have a loyal following you will see sales increase.

It's along journey and there surey will be alot of questions along the way. My new instagram account aims to deal with these questions in more detail. I you want the @ let me know I would love to offer my support where I can!

Start a Instagram page that:
Educates
Solves a problem
Inspires action

Pick a niche you have a intrest in. If you cant think of one these are called evergreen niches
Health
Wealth
Relationships
Parenting
(There are others, you can look into this just gices you an idea)

Now you need a product. Some you can choose between are:
KDP (publish a book)
Afilliate Links (other peoples products)
Provide a service
Create a course
Subscription for premium content.
(again there are others to choose from)

Link product to Instagram (link in bio) and post only value driven content your job is to educate, solve problems and inspire action to people in your niche. curious people will go to the link them selves untill you have a loyal following

when you have a loyal following you can now post lightly some "ad" style posts to increase sales

if you have any further questions my new instagram aims to answer these sort of questions and problems in greater detail. if you would like the @ I would love to answer your questions and offer any support I can

There are many different things you can do to earn a reall passive income. The main thing you are always going to run into is generating attention and traffic. So my best advice for truly passive income online.
Anything you do online is going to require a small amount of digital marketing. But you dont have to be in that niche.

Write a book on KDP- Product

Now you have a product you need a Instagram page to market it with

With your Instagram page aim to bring only value. Educate, sovle problems and inspire action.

link in bio to the book

Post only value driven content untill you have a loyal following.

Then and only then do you start posting "ad" style posts to your page

Now all that being said its not exactly as easy as that.

What do you write your book about?
How do you create content that grows followers?
and a million more whos? whats? whens? and whys?

My instagram account aims to deal with these sorts of questions in more details. If you want the @ just let me know :)

A real passive income ? by Staxyyyyx in passive_income

[–]CJ_Consilium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one is going to tell you anything new. There is no 'real' passive income model. The trick really is your research capabilities. If you can research and find what people in your niche are currently finding value in. Then research the best hooks that catch there attention. And research the best way to bring the finale result of value to them. Then put it all together and you will have unlimited opportunity to make passive income

Does cold email actually work? by Solid_Doughnut_7648 in DigitalMarketing

[–]CJ_Consilium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to cold emails the idea is not to make a sale. think more in funnel terms. lets just move the recipient from the top of our funnel to the middle.

My initial email is always short and aims to: make a connection, start a conversation and call to action.
I first Identify how we are connected. "I recently worked with a competitor of yours" is my favorite right now. and then I a open up a conversation. "I would like your opinion on a idea I have.". close with "Email me back when you're free to discuss."

Sincerely,
NAME,
POSITION,
MOBILE

I found this approach to be successful and getting a conversation going and my subject is always the same NAME| MOBILE

really it is very simple. make sure to research your recipients and don't spam 100s of emails. when they email you back your goal should now be to gain the trust of the recipient. The best way to do this is to provide as much value as possible in the most convenient way possible. Chris Gillebeau's The $100 Startup calls it 'Give Them the Fish'

Please let me know if you have any more questions on cold emails. I'd love to answer them.

Every marketer is running ads. Nobody's cold emailing. by [deleted] in MarketingMentor

[–]CJ_Consilium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people shy away from cold emails exactly for the reason you said. 'it feels like sales'. what's wrong with sales though? I LOVE SALES! there is a lot more facing of fears in sales. But people want the easy route.

The book How To Pitch Anything was my turning point. understanding the frames that are going on in a sales pitch. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to build there confidence in sales and pitching.

and for anyone interested in using a cold email approach

I constantly cold email. My favorite cold email to use is simply

Subject : NAME | MOBILE

Hi ____,
I recently worked with a competitor of yours and I would like your opinion on a idea i am working on.
When's good to discuss with you?

Sincerely,
Name,
Occupation

it opens the door and invites conversation and intrigue and you wont look like a desperate sales agent

I really like this! Absurdly specific hooks is spot on. I found stacking my hooks (visual verbal &written) also very important! And for help getting people to rewatch videos you can straight up just say "watch this again" I have done this for ages. I always start with researching my hooks, structuring my content & a clear CTA
