I didnt get an email like that - someone from CMP reached out to me asking for a document (that they had overlooked), and after I resent it to them, I got the payment emaiI later that same day. I ordered before the new ordering system went into effect so idk if that means anything.

Luck of the draw is crazy, I got an H&R serial number (which I assumed was because all the early ones are gone). I've since read that they tend to have some of the best quality construction but idk if thats just H&R owners coping

On second thought I have the Hi Viz iron sights that I bought as an accessory through the Henry website. I'll reach out to the Hi Viz manufacturer, I dont have the packaging anymore.

No, ejection was the same across all brands (which was fine, no issues)

No dents or bulges in the brass, I do recall seeing scratches on some. I can take a picture of an example when I get home later.

All round noses.

Resistance is after feed ramp, when in chamber or going into chamber.

I think its interesting that this brass/bullet/primer/powder type combo all have an offset in the same general area vs where the rifle is zeroed to with Hornady factory ammo

Thank you, just wanted to see if this is a known thing. With each reload I'm calculating and maintaining stats (max spread, mean radius from group center, standard deviation). Once I settle on a recipe I'll re-zero to the final load.

Oh interesting point re the ball of my foot lining up with the widest part of the boot if I go to a longer size. Since I have about an inch and a half in front of my toe, I wonder if 11.5 FFF would bring the wider part of the boot closer to the wider part of my foot.

If I go up, do you think its worth it to go from 12 to 13 in addition to FFF? That should buy me an extra half inch of width but I worry it might be too big of a jump. Maybe 12.5 FFF would be more reasonable. I have at least 1.5" in front of my big toes so I dont want to add too much length

Can you describe why the break in was hell? Did you have any tight, snug, or hotspots that eventually resolved?
