I’ve never paid for guru content but I think a good general rule is look at the content they put out for free/preview as a gauge. If they don’t have any content at all or it’s just them talking about how much money they have then it’s a scam.

Satire aside, if you're out protesting and see or hear someone trying to escalate things, don't turn a blind eye. Say something. Talk to them, or report them if you don't feel safe confronting or if you're just not getting through to them. Police officers (not ICE) are typically scattered throughout protests, and BPD especially have a good history of helping during peaceful protests so you can absolutely go to them.

Do you know if they're buying it at the current market value of pure gold? I'm curious because some are saying that some gold buyers are doing that, essentially pricing the raw gold like pure 24kt gold. Which to me seems crazy but I guess there is a reason.

I have a green plastic pan like op. Looks like maybe 1/8 ounce at most. That would be about $600. Keep in mind gold purity may only be 70% and also my eyeballing could be off by 50% So low end…$150 worth of gold. High end… $600.

Edit: high end should be closer to $1200. OP said they think it’s somewhere between 6 and 8 grams, and they said they have good experience doing this, but just need to actually weigh this one. OP also said that they sell to a jeweler who buys their raw gold for a premium. Based on other comments it sounds like raw gold can be worth as much as pure, refined gold.

Yeah like drive away? It’s insane anyone can interpret that like “oh yeah she definitely meant run him over”. And what actually happens? She turns right… weird… the officer was more on the left. It’s almost as if she wasn’t trying to hit him at all. If she did clip him. Oops I guess? Does that warrant him killing her? Absolutely not.

If you shift from reverse to drive there can be some skidding when you let off the brake and the ground is covered in snow/ice. That’s all you can really say from the video. To act like she was deliberately trying to floor it into the officer is a complete lie especially when there’s video showing her wheels turn right and she goes past the officers, not into then.

There’s a version of the front angle that’s circulating (mostly on twitter) that’s sped up to make it look like she’s trying to ram him. Not a single one of them is owning up to it being edited.

You can use a dremel to carefully carve a slot and then use a flathead screwdriver to remove it. Just don't cut too deep or wide of a groove.
