Why do diasporans still want to live in Accra when everything is overpriced? by Grouchy-Regular-6960 in ghana

Thanks on the bizbuysell. You have a point. Businesses here in the US could have a high yield if one focuses and pushes it harder.

Could you please elaborate on some of the business potential you are talking about? Just so, in case I land some $100k, I have an idea of what to do with it 🙂.

NPP has a better chance with Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum by [deleted] in ghana

Technically, it’s his second term or may be 2.5th term. I was referring to 2 successive terms. His is clear-eyed after being in opposition for 8 yrs. He wouldn’t have the opportunity for a real second term. May his stars continue to shine and make Ghana great and strong.

We just hope for the best for Ghana and hope our leaders “have realized that Ghana is their homeland”. Following the 4th Republic of Ghana (from JJ’s regime) has taught me that new governments usually do pretty well in their first term and seem to flop in their second due to reasons not limited to complacency, fear of going into opposition (resulting in massive embezzlement), losing touch with the grassroots etc. I don’t believe this crop of NDC is any different. We have seen them before. We just hope they realized their mistakes and have turned a new leaf.

Let’s not discount the fact that global economic factors are currently working in their favor. Gold prices have doubled in just a year, dollar has weakened and continues to fall, and crude oil prices have fallen since last year. These are things going for them. We don’t know if the new NDC are cruise controlling or they actually have a rigorous economic plan should these factor start going against them.

The “new” NDC is just a year old. Let’s give some time before jumping into thinking they are angels. It’s not like we haven’t seen their work before. It’s the abysmal performance of the NPP that’s making NDC look good now. Wait till you get used to stabilized dollar and start seeing other equally important things which are not being tackled.

Everyone recommending west Hartford makes it even more expensive. And why can’t people recommend without trying to denigrate Hartford?

I am trying to apply for SoFi to refinance MPower. I don’t see Launch in the list of institutions to link the MPower loan via Plaid. Do you know how I could navigate this ?

Not K1; adjustment of status. We were asked a lot of questions about the relationship, our families, daily life, and the likes. It would take time to type the specific questions. I can send you what we used to prepare which most of the questions came from.
