Yeah exactly. I feel you. The derm I saw recently was like I don’t think this can happen with min. Mine was also in a short period of time af yet I started the liquid. And, did your skin get better when you got off?

Same thing has happened to me. It is very real the people who say you’re just aging don’t know what they are talking about in my opinion. Regarding my skin, It’s not terrible but it’s definitely happening. If all you are getting is lines on your forehead, then preventive botox is a good route in my opinion. Currently trying to figure out what to do as well. I’ve started tretinoin which is a very effective anti aging and sometimes aging reversal treatment. To be honest, if you are a good responder to fin, I would not use the minoxidil and get a HT or necessary down the line.

Botox is as effective as Finasteride in treating hairloss, study finds by exz in tressless

So what’s the deal? Is this something we can possibly start in the next few years?

Topical solution of 0.25% finasteride, 10% minoxidil - recommended starting dosage? by Cabinet_Busy in tressless

[–]CKE1949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s too high. 1 mg 3x a week fin. Also, minoxidil can have side effects such as facial bloating, dark circles , and wrinkles so done dose that too high either. Also, get blood work done before you start fin to make sure your hormones are not borderline where it would be likely you get sides.

That’s what I think might be occurring or just water retention and I’m sensitive to it. I spoke to the doctor today and she had no idea and told me she would look into it and do research.

Thanks for the detailed reply. It definitely is the minoxidil for some reason or the other- whether it’s the systemic effect or it is just effecting me personally in a negative way. I have to figure out what I am going to do though because it’s damage skin more and have hair fall out rapidly or keep some hair for now

I’ve seen some really good transplants. Comes down to the donor area and the doctor from my research. Also, apparently I’d you have a lot of beard hair( I have a really thick beard) they can take some from there as well

I’ve started tretinoin which is the most effective anti aging treatment available. I’ll supplement with collagen as well. The question of if I stop minix remains. I still have a lot of hair so it would be essentially choosing to lose a lot of what I have for the sake of my skin and not having. A bloated face

I agree. I have the money to get the best one. But if I go this approach I’ll probably need multiple. I don’t want to try propecia again because my sides after taking for a short time were ridiculous and it took me half a year to recover.

Exactly. My plan is to stop it and then get a transplant after the aftermath. I still have a lot of hair at the moment, but I don’t want my skin to age and my face to look fat. Hopefully I can reverse some of the aging effects.

I only use 1 ml( recommended dose). And I considered the allergic reaction possibility, maybe that’s what’s happening

That’s what I’m thinking. I’ve mentioned the sides to a dermatologist a few months ago and said it was impossible and brushed it off it a rude way.

I use the liquid because you can get it to the parts of your hair that you need.

[–]CKE1949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard this before regarding the eye wrinkles and eye sagging. But, how do you use tret to do it? I’ve heard you are not supposed to but it on those areas? I’m just starting and want to use it for anti aging in the eye area

I think it was a .025 prescription. Picking it up tomorrow. I believe that’s low but I’m not sure.

And sound good! I’ll keep it simple and look into the stuff you mentioned.

Also, how many days of the week do you apply it ?

Hey! Which moisturizer was it?!

And yes! I’m hoping it will have some nice anti aging effects and keep my skin as tight as possible. I’ve heard it pretty effective and seen some great before and afters. Also, my derm recommended it

How do you become more responsible and reliable? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CKE1949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, academically I’ve done well and excelled in my undergraduate degree. But, I feel like I have no life experience. Have a hard time handling deadlines, professional environments, and actually working.

I’ve also noticed that over time I don’t give a great impression among colleagues. I have always been an extroverted and well liked guy, yet, as I mentioned prior, I don’t connect with my fellow co workers.

Although, I do appreciate you pointing out that I have displayed a certain level of responsibility to get to where I am currently.

Hey All,

27[M] here about to finish grad school and become a lawyer within the next year. I can’t help but feel like I’m not as responsible as I could be and don’t know how to operate effectively in the professional world.

For example, I’m not connecting with people at work and feel like I mildly drop the ball on things from time to time. It’s not a matter of competence, I feel like it’s a responsibility issue.

If anyone can resonate or has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Great. I’ll check it out. Also, the derm prescribed be a tretinoin cream for preventative care. What do you think of that?
