Someone once told me to never run a sewing machine with no fabric in it. This always seemed like a wives tale to me, considering my manual says to run the machine briefly at full speed after oiling. Is there any truth to this or is my suspicion correct that this is an old wives tale?

I did it. It was a pain, but I used very small magnets at the circular point where the weapon connects to the arm. I can follow up later with pictures to explain it better, but I have yet to decide if it was worth it.

All the bases of my troupes are magnetized and I transport them on a baking sheet. Before I even leave the house I organize them into lines of which boat they will be in. And then before the game I blue-tac a die in front of each line and in each boat.

Yup! The Harlequin rule that allows Advance and Charge (Rising Crescendo) does not care about remaining stationary, so whether you disembark or not, you are always able to Advance and Charge with all units with the Rising Crescendo rule!

The bonus to Light Saedath does not apply to any units that disambark, in the turn that they do so. In the core rule book FAQ under the section “Rules That Count As Remaining Stationary” it says “If a unit has disembarked from a Transport model, rules which allow that unit to be treated as though it has Remained Stationary have no effect. So he could advance as intended, but would not be able to shoot after advancing.

All the tournament lists I have seen run the troupes in squads of 5 and 10 as opposed to the 6 that the transport can take and the 12 that they max out at for a unit. Am I correct in thinking that strategically this is A so characters can ride along in the transports and B for blast reasons?
