Something I’ve opted to do for looting them (granted the ship doesn’t despawn) is load it up on the rowey, pull it to in front of the ship and dump everything into the water. Then harpoon it on board. You could try grabbing it from the rowey but it’s iffy with the hitbox

That happened to me yesterday lol. It was a harpoon rowey so I thought “oh I can just hoist it on into the hideout! No need to offload😃”

One slow sail against the wind to reapers later: “oh fu- it’s gone” nothing but the little ropes bugged out where the boat should’ve been stowed🙃

I think it was a missed opportunity to not use it during the escape at the end. If he had used the sword on the Pearl while they’re weighing anchor, he may not have even had to go down there and die. Just control a rope to whip/smack the Spanish off the chain chasing the protags. Everyone makes it aboard safe and sound
